  1. When I use Adobe acrobat Pro to read pdfs on my tablet or touchscreen laptop it can be awkward to easily switch between scroll and highlight. Perhaps integrate smart tap features like for other adobe fresco, e.g., three taps to redo, two taps to undo, one finger to select, two finger drag to scroll. Also I keep needing to undo my highlights because I'm uncoordinated! Rather than always having to go into the drop down menu please make undo more accessible. Currently there are all these other buttons visible that i never use, why not something i use all the…

  2. After multi-selecting comments (or even selecting a single comment) and then using the "Export Selected to Data File" menu option, the resulting FDF file contains all comments from the original PDF. I'm running Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on MacOS. I've tried reinstalling. Is this a known bug?

  4. Please implement a feature where we can add a leader to a callout box instead of having to manually add an arrow at the pivot point.

  6. Please implement a feature where the text / callout box fill and text opacity can be adjusted independently. There are several instances where I want a translucent box and fully opaque text, but I can't perform this independent action.

  7. a lot of us use the stamp tool frequently, it is very cumbersome, needs to do many clicks to stamp for each page.
let the user choose a default stamp to use repeatedly with one click only. other PDF software can do it. such as PDF-X change editor. I am sure The King- -acrobat DC pro should able to do it.

  8. QuickBooks file extension is basically the extension used at the end of a file name, which defines the purpose of the file. It is generally in the form .***. The file extension basically will help you in identifying the files and finding out the what purpose is to be served by each of the files. 12. We need a way to automatically hide the Comments pane that pops up on the right-hand side of a PDF with comments without asking users to manually change their Adobe preferences.

I create PDF deliverables for a living and there have been situations where a client wants me to embed documents in a PDF via the Comment Tool, but they don't want the Comment pane to open when their employees or customers open the PDF.

I have attached a screenshot of the Adobe Preference window. The preferences outlined in red are the ones that control the Comment pane pop-up. I…

  14. The Comment Panel was much better in Adobe Acrobat 9, that is the whole reason I didn't want to go to DC, but now I don't have a choice because of security. I think you should be able to move the panel to the bottom like in Adobe Acrobat 9. Also this version, as soon as you click on it, it takes up 2" for one comment, that's just crazy. Also, the filter function doesn't hold, I have in the past in Acrobat 9, selected to show None so only my comments that haven't finished show up. But in this…

  15. Hi Team,

    Greetings !

This request is with respect to E-000596525 (PDF Annotation - Comments Highlighter).

We have a request from the client to provide hightlighter for the comments provided by the user against the document content. We have raised a technical support call and got clarified that the functionality is currently unavailable.

It would be highly appreciable if you could provide us with the new feature.

  16. The filters on the Commenting feature work well to filter by e.g. author, checked status, colour.

What we need is to be able to export just the filtered results.
What happens is that Acrobat ignores the filter, even when choosing 'Export just the selected comments' and exports the entire list to a data file. This is after filtering AND selecting all the comments that have been filtered. Somewhat illogical behaviour.

  17. When marking up PDFs, some clients want text to be immediately visible "on the page," i.e., in Callouts and Text Boxes vs. added with the less easy to see Insert Text at Cursor or Replace Text functions. Sometimes the text I need to add is just a single comma or hyphen, but the default bounding box size is much larger, and resizing these by hand is time-consuming. I'd like an option to fit bounding boxes to their contents without having to edit box sizes by hand. (Text Boxes autofit if you click and drag with the Text Box tool selected…

  18. The freeform highlighter tool is accessible in commenting mode and normal view mode, but disappears in full-screen and reverts to a text-only highlighter. For large scanned documents, it would be great if the existing freeform highlighter tool could be used in full-screen mode via the existing Shift-U shortcut.

  19. Please implement a feature where I can adjust which markups appear on top of overlapping markups. In other words, the default is the newest markups are on top but I want to have an option to send a new markup backward so an old markup will be on top. I currently have to cut the old markup and paste in order to make this happen, but this should be something we can choose from a right-click menu.

  20. We need to be able to convert lines and polygon markup tools into a true highlighter rather than a makeshift highlighter. Currently, I have to adjust the opacity and while this serves its purpose, I lose print quality because of it. I use Acrobat daily to markup drawings for Construction and this would be such a big help. I would also be able to highlight Autocad text (which Adobe does not currently do).

    Please implement this! Thanks!
