        • Comments and highlights should look color coded

Comments and highlights should look color coded regardless of how they are sorted out... all in the same color looks elegant and everything but it was MUCH easier to read comments in past versions of Acrobat when they were shown with their color

            • Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2019.008.20080 constantly crashing when deleting comments

My copy of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2019.008.20080 is constantly crashing when deleting comments. Since Adobe removed the tick box from the commenting feature, which was easily the worst UI/UX decision in recent history, I have resorted to deleting comments in order to be able to go through documents with hundreds of markups.

However, the current version fo Acrobat pro DC can only handle a couple of comment deletions in a row, and literally crashes after every 5 to 10 comments.

So if I have a document with 700+ comments, you can imagine my frustration and the amount of crashing.…

              • highlight

PLZ offer a "read mode" that highlighting without a comment pop-up!!!

For many times when I'm reading I'd like to highlight some words but have nothing to comment- however it creates an empty pop-up... When I sometimes have to find out a useful comment I have to go through hundreds of empty comments in the comment list.

                • Comment markups randomly disappear

                  2. Comment markups randomly disappear from the screen, sometimes when zooming in and out, sometimes when scrolling. Sometimes they all disappear, sometimes just part of a page. Zooming or scrolling does not fix the problem. They will not draw correctly until I hide Acrobat, then making it the active application again, sometimes I have to quit the application and restart to solve the problem.
                  3. Acrobat Pro DC 2019, Mac

I need to use a split screen, half InDesign, half Acrobat, when I'm running corrections. That does not leave real estate for the giant comment sidebar in Acrobat, so I…

                  • highlighter malfunctions and is far too large

When I go to highlight text, the highlighter is the size of about half a page. Other forums suggested that this had to do with formatting by acrobat, but it happens in all documents. This feature is virtually useless. Perhaps its a bug that could use fixing.

                      • Comments aren't filtering correctly

When I filter by name, not all of the comments that user contributed are showing in the right-hand pane. It's really problematic because those comments are being skipped over and not getting a response.

                        • Filter by unchecked should be a default filter

Seriously, the new Acrobat design hides the checked/unchecked options from the Comment filter until you check one. Also, to check a comment you have to right-click it now where in previous versions of Acrobat it was an actual checkbox you clicked. Just put it back the way it was Adobe!

                          • Bug: Draw tool properties cycle is not purely fixed

Draw tool properties cycle is not purely fixed, when using keyboard shift+d, Cloud Tool Properties appears in one cycle, and not the next one, as in if I started out with Arrow Tool Properties, if pressing shift+d 8 times doesn't lead to Cloud Tool Properties, the next cycling through drawing tool properties Cloud Tool Properties would show up upon pressing shift+d 8 times, and then the next cycle Cloud Tool Properties would not show up, and the next cycle it would show up again.

Acrobat Pro DC 2019.008.20080 Commenting Checkbox

In this version of Acrobat Pro there is no checkbox in the comment bubbles. There is only this feature in the expanded ... menu. I utilize this feature all the time to go through client feedback and check off addressed issues in long-form print documents. Please put it back in the bubble.

                              • Comment Text too small.

When I double click the comment box in the right column so that I can select it (to copy and paste) the text becomes so tiny that it's illegible.

                                • Acrobat Comments is now a mess

There used to be lines in between each comment that help you see where one comment ended and the next one started. The new comments panel design is a mess that makes it hard to distinguish which comment is checked and which is not everything just flows together in one long indistinguishable mess. And for God’s sake bring back the old method of checking off a comment.

                                    • Create dummy page for visual commenting on locked PDF to show changes

I've made rectangles and arrows in addition to verbal comments to indicate placement changes on page layouts for locked PDFs from an overseas production vendor (I think the requests were getting lost in translation). It would have been much easier to create/reference a dummy page with low resolution or lightened placeholders that I could have adjusted. And it would be a bonus if those placeholders referenced the original objects for the changes to be accepted/applied by the owner of the PDF.

                                      • The order of operation for "highlight" and "insert text" is inconsistent.

When highlighting in the newest version of Acrobat Pro, one may select the highlight feature and then highlight the text, just as one would do with a physical highlighter. When using the "Insert text at cursor" feature, however, one must first place the cursor in the desired location and *then* select the insert text feature. This seems inconsistent with the highlight feature. I don't recall this being the case in the previous version and I'm having trouble getting use to the change. (One of many.)

                                        • A user suggestion for improving Adobe Acrobat capabilities: Extracting all of the highlighted texts in one step

As you are well aware, the users of Adobe Acrobat (or similar products) usually apply ‘Highlight Text’ to highlight or summarize parts of the text or the book that they are reading in PDF format.

After finishing to read the text, if the user can have the ability to extract (in one step) all the highlighted parts in the format of a MS Word or other PDF file; this can be very handy and helpful; since this way the user can easily make an outlined summary of the read text or book ready for future references.

                                          I wonder if the…
