  1. Changing text size / color used to work fine until a forced update to Acrobat DC today to 19.021.20048.
Now selecting a comment and changing text size or color seems to work the first time I try to use the feature after opening the document.
After that I either don't get the popup to change text size / color; or if the popup shows and I click on the color box (change color) no additional popup for color change comes up.
    Using Windows 7 laptop.

  2. Would you disable, or at least provide an option to disable, a popup when highlighting a text? This is very annoying because this occludes text I am currently reviewing. Please do not interfere with the user's intended task. It is up to the users who will decide what to do with the highlighted text - after reviewing it thoroughly. Blocking it with the pop up interferes the work process.

  3. When right-clicking a comment in Acrobate DC, I get the option to delete it, but to mark it as 'resolved', I have to use the comment column. Deleting a comment is not preferred, because it leads to the reviewers thinking they have missed a spot, while a resolved comment still gets highlighted when they go the document. It would be much easier for all those quick fixes to be able to resolve them on the spot instead of having to look them up and resolve them in the comments pane.

  4. The ability to view a summary of all comments while working in Adobe Document cloud. Also the ability/option to hide "resolved" comments. We can mark comments as resolved, but they stay in the list, making things very cluttered. If I could turn on an option that would automatically hide (but not delete) comments once I've marked them as resolved, that would help tremendously as we go through proofreading comments.

  5. Fix this by adding an outline to the fill color so that it is still visible when the highlight color is gray

  6. I'd like to see one be able to choose what comments are to be printed in a summary.
For instance I do not need a report on every highlighting.
Highlighting with comments, and comment bubbles themselves yes.

I'd like to see a line to the reference number in the margin if one selected this time of summary. I do not like the characters covered by the numbers.

  8. Cannot find how to remove the @ symbol in the comments box. Do NOT want to "post" comment and is annoying when having to copy / paste info from the comments.

  9. After the update, no longer able to change font settings of comments (ie font size, font color, etc.). After reaching out to help desk, it was indicated that this can only be done in the "Edit pdf" tool which only works once comments are embedded in the document. This does not make sense as I still need the comments to be "live" so that further edits can be made in the future. This is especially upsetting as I work on pdf's that are 24X36 and need the comments to stand out but the size is so small, it gets lost…

  10. Have ability to save different pencils to menu bar (with different properties) so you can rapidly change from one to the other. Now you can only save one pencil and you need to manually adjust the properties each time you want to change it. (In Customize Comments Tools)

  11. When OCR occurs, any comments and arrows previously added turn sideways and move to random locations, which makes them useless.

  13. Please introdue a feature where sticky notes can be moved between far off pages within and also if possible between PDFs.

This should be done so that files having lots of sticky notes in them can be smoothly worked with. I have a file with 3000+ sticky notes in it but the notes are all in different pages and I want to streamline it.

Copy pasting content individually one sticky note at a time is tedious and so would request Adobe to allow a feature where one can simply drag the sticky notes across the pages.

    One solution is by…

  14. Add the ability to change the pre-defined colors for the highlight tool. Having to highlight first, than go and change the properties of the highlighted text just to replace Adobes forced colors wastes a lot of time

  15. When I create a text box and then have to move it, no amount of single or double clicking will let me type text in the box. You can see in the attached movie that the cursor appears briefly, but then it disappears.

The only way to deal with it is to delete the box, recreate it, and hope that it will let you type text this time.

(The problem with that **** trash can has been covered separately.)

I work on books and have to make these text boxes hundreds of times a day. The added time it takes…

  16. In one of the last updates, the password security has changed from allowing one to copy and paste the password into the dialogue box to requiring a manual typing of the password. When putting the password into a document for the client to open, there is always a chance to type the incorrect password and the document cannot be opened. When the document cannot be opened, I do not know what has changed from the proposed password. Having a copy and paste assures that the password in the document sent to the client is also the one securing the attached…

  20. Used to be when a text box was selected and the right click option "make current properties default" was chosen, that set the properties to all new text boxes permanently. Now I can chose this option, then change the text in a different text box and then next new text box that is created no longer has the default settings, it has the properties of the text box that was changed. Why have this option if it doesn't do what it says? This used to work in versions prior to Acrobat Pro DC 2019.012.20035. My idea, make it work like…
