When attempting edit PDF's, annoying messaging of "optimization" creates Jumbles. Should be a choice. IT messes up all other text
Our team edit's pdfs for QAQC and whenever we save it jumbles and distorts the document. Really quick messages come up that we can't stop "optimization/fixing to web " etc.ANNOYING

Bug: When scrolling page, highlighted text (after creating a comment) does not display properly
When scrolling a PDF document with highlighted text using the two-finger gesture on a trackpad, text that is highlighted when creating a Comment does not visually scroll properly. See the attached video. Same problem occurs when using the cursor to scroll the page (not captured in the attached video). Reproduced on several documents
Steps:
1. Select text
2. Bring up contextual menu
3. Select Highlight Text
4. Write and post a comment

Edit PDF: Please allow us to format underline and bold color and type
Please allow us to select different types of underline (dotted, dashed, double) and to select underline and bold colors. Comparable to Word so I don't have to waste time on page replacements when only 1 word needs editing!

Need full suite of editing tools in Adobe Acrobat DC
When sending a sharable pdf document to several people so they can edit it we need to have access to all editing tools. Currently, when you open a regular pdf, there are 13 editing tools available. When you open the cloud-based sharable document, there are only 5 tools. We used to be able to have a shareable pdf AND access to all tools but no longer.

Rearange pages
Making possible to rearange pages in pdf. Making it from page 1 to 182 to 182 - 1. As in japanese books that are read from the "back". So just flip the whole bunch of pages in one click.

Valid PDF cannot be edited in Acrobat
We’ve recently encountered a set of PDFs that cause errors in Acrobat Pro DC.
They are provably valid and syntax error free. We’ve checked the PDFs with:
Adobe's (DataLogics) PDF checker command line
No errors reported.Acrobat's pre-flighting
No errors reported.RUPs (IText)
No errors reported.Enfocus PitStop
No errors reported.
Every other software we've tried can open, read and edit the document without issue.
Yet when these same PDFs are opened in Acrobat DC Pro, we find that Acrobat shows generic errors when an attempt is made to edit the PDF.

Split a pdf and retain each individual page's thumbnail name!
Please, please, please make it so that I can split a pdf into individual pages and retain each individual page's thumbnail name! I do not want 100 pages named the same thing and just numbered 1-100. This would be so helpful in construction/architecture/engineering. The thumbnails are usually all named exactly what I need all the individual pages to be. Instead, I have to split document and then go back and rename them all to match thumbnails again. Would be such a time saver since it is already done by architects releasing the document!!

DID YOU KNOW THAT YOU CAN CLICK ON OPTIONS AT RIGHT IN EDIT MODE OR ADD TEXT AND CLOSE ADOBE AND LOSE ALL YOUR WORK.

I would like to be able to write on the file. The highlighter tool is chunky and not great for writing sentences. It would be helpful for me to use a pen tool to write sentences in the margin rather than simply type it in.

inherit zoom default - Hyperlinks within the pdf document pages.
It would be very Helpful if Adobe would address this issue with being able to set the zoom level of the hyperlinks within the pdf document to inherit zoom as a default setting. As explained by others it is a real pain to have to change all the hyperlinks in the document 1 at a time to accomplish a "inherit zoom" setting in a large pdf document that can have hundreds of hyperlinks. Using inherit zoom is a document standard that is required in many industries, so it is not just a preference that I personally prefer. I must use…

I would like the font selectors in adobe products to be more like a search menu, the code for doing "Live Search" is very simple so if i type "ari" all arial fonts will show up in the short list.

Modify/Delete Portfolio Metadata
It does not seem possible to edit Portfolio's metadata it gathers when converting outlook PST files. The From, To, CC, and BCC fields may contain confidential email addresses under Texas law, and there does not appear to be a way to remove/edit/redact that metadata. Currently, we must extract the PDFs from Portfolio and then re-combine them. However, when doing so, we lose the order of the emails unless more manual labor is used, since the date of each email is also lost. Combine alternate pages
It would be very useful if Adobe allowed files to be merged with alternating pages. E.G Odd numbered pages scanned by a single sided scanner saved as file 1. Even numbered pages scanned by same single sided scanner saved as file 2. Redact feature no longer functions properly
I have hundreds of pages to redact in a scanned document and when I hit apply the screen over the document goes gray and a solid white box appears in the center. The white box usually give the options to use in the redaction process. I have to close Adobe with Task Manager. This is unacceptable. This is a recurring problem. I managed to clear it with difficulty a few weeks ago and the malfunction has returned. Please don't tell me to update. I checked. There are no outstanding updates. Redaction not working properly
This expensive piece of software really is often total garbage. Gone through redacting information from 52 pages, applied it and the thing spazzes out and puts black lines everywhere that wasn't even selected.

Thought, ah, must just be something tricky with the PDF so I printed to PDF to flatten it, did it again and it just got worse!
