Can't work with newly opened pdf files.
I use Acrobat and pdfs every day to save, print and share client files. With this latest "upgrade" of Acrobat DC, it usually takes at least 3 or 4 times opening a document to be able to use it. I open a document and all I get is the spinning circle. I can wait till the cows come home, but it won't do anything. If I click on the document, it says Acrobat is not responding. If I click on it again, it grays out the entire page and I have to close the program. This will happen time after…

Every time I've used the Edit feature in the last few weeks, it has corrupted the text. Worked fine before that.

Easier way to set and update Multiple Footers at one time
If I want multiple different footers within 1 document, I have to open the footer each time, be sure to select only the page range for each footer, and enter a starting page number for each. This is extremely aggravating if one of the footers needs to be updated or changed. It would be great to set all the footers at one time and when updating all the footers would be listed, and then you could select the footer that needs to change or update. Quality settings for convert colors
Qualitiy of the PDF is visibly reduced after color conversion, vectors get lost and are obviously converted to pixels.
All in all the quality after conversion is unfortunately lousy.
I need to convert the documents via Photoshop to get acceptable output. Although vectors get rastered i can archieve descent printing quality with this methos. This should be able in Acrobat directly.2 votes -
I am a new user, just passed my trial, and now I find out the Edit feature sucks!
My idea is that Adobe should refund all my money and not charge me any more.
1-Adobe could not convert a PDF to Excel
2-Adobe entered 160 fields, but after save, my data disappears!!!Pls contact me before I post to other sites.

Spent 2 hours entering data only to lose all my work!!!!!!!!!
My idea is that Adobe should save data I entered on a PDF via edit, saved my work twice, and now when I open the saved PDF, all my data has been lost!!
If this is not a bug, tell me what is.

Need a simple Pen tool in edit menu
I do not see simple pen tool in the edit PDF menu. need simple pen tool and ability to create other basic objects (triangle, rectangle, circle etc.. )

BUG: Your text box text formating tool covers up document. Please move it OUT OF THE WINDOW. You keep reducing Acrobat's functionality.
Please stop floating menus over document content. This covers up important information. Your most recent flop: When adding a text box, the font menu covers up the same box and one cannot edit it. Stop this nonsense. Acrobat keeps deteriorating with each "upgrade" since 2005. If you attend a entry level web programming class at a good university, you can learn how to design efficient user interfaces. Tell that your incopmetent manager.

BUG : Arabic text with ( Tashkeel ) Editing after PDF file is saved add extra spaces
Ok here is the issue,
When I edit PDF file using Arabic text, everything ( to some extent is fine )
But if I just saved the file, then try to edit it again
( i.e. Change font, Change Color, Change size, edit the text it self )Arabic letters would just go wrong, attached an image showing the issue.
I noticed that this only happen if ( Tashkeel ) is used.
I had the same issue on both Machines : Mac OS & Windows 10.
Also PDF attached with an example,

Font replaced with dots
Editing a PDF that used Arial Narrow first issued a warning that I don't have the font installed and would substitute it with an other font. Now that I installed the font, each letter or number is replaced with a dot.
The font works fine in a text editor.

Acrobat Pro DC is unusable.
When I edit a pdf, Acrobat refuses to let me save it. It tells me I'm not authorized to do that. I save it under a different name and then try to delete the file that I don't want, and it won't move to the trash can either. If I try to overwrite an existing pdf with a new file of the same name, it says it can't do it. It won't work until I open task manager and stop acrobat and then try. I cannot do this every hour at work. I really want to get the 2018 version…

An option to create exanding/ collasping paragraphs
A built in function to create a header and a paragraph below that can collapsed or expanded when the header is clicked, while pushing down the content below it. I know that word documents and excel have similar functions.

Return Acrobat to the easy, elegant program it was and not this stupid, childish UI.
Why it is impossible to have editing options as they were previously? Can a 'Classic view' be added for those of us older than 5?
Everything in this new 'charms' based UI is fussy and time-consuming. I've been using Acrobat since its inception and now I'm having to relearn nearly everything. WHY?

Allow Text and Shapes (rectangles) to be entered directly into Form in "Edit PDF" rather than forcing the user to use Comments
The only option to directly enter text surrounded by a shape is in Comments - or go back to square 1 and reimport the document from Word.
Allow the text entered in Edit PDF to be covered by a shape with optional properties like transparency or colored border and background.1 vote
