You should add the option to select which third party connectors are enabled. We would like to use OneDrive only but unfortunately, this also allows Dropbox and Box.

  2. Create a setting in Preferences that defaults to:
View | Show | Navigation Panes | Page Thumbnails
so that thumbnails ALWAYS appear in the navigation pane and are never hidden unless done manually.

We already support this with the “Pinning of navigation pane” feature. i.e. to open any Navigation Pane by default for all the documents in the LHP.
This is how you can try this out:

    1) Launch any PDF and Expand the Panel that you want the acrobat to open by default for every document(For Ex. Page Thumbnails)
    2) Right click on the LHP Navigation strip , Select the option from the context menu “Pin Page thumbnails” .
    3) now try out by launching any other pdf → You will observe that the Page thumbnails panel would appear expanded by default on launch (If document does not have any other document specific preference )

This Feature is applicable to DC and Classic 2017 track (not available in Classic 2015)

    Thanks

  3. when adding another file it goes to the end . In older versions of Acrobat Pro you could sort & re-arrange Portfolio files
tried that workaround where you create a new column in view /portfolio details & edit the values to get the files in the proper order sequence .. bit that is a bit of a kludge & really doesn`t affect the printing order of individual Portfolio files or default view when opening

    version 2017.011.30065 Win 7 32 bit & win 10 64 bit

  4. We often need to split a document into a single file per page. We almost NEVER split a document by every two pages.

Having to edit this number each time is redundant. I would like the option to either edit the default "split by" setting (and additionally the output settings) or alternatively have the default be 1 page.

  5. It will be very useful to have a cut/copy and paste option for moving pages within a pdf file. Currently, you can only drag pages around and this can be a little bit messy especially if working on a large file.

  6. We work on multiple monitor in our office. Our monitors have different scaling factor settings. When we drag Acrobat window from one display device to another it doesn't scale as per the new scaling factor.

  7. We have identified a possible bug with both Acrobat and Acrobat Pro when interacting with mapped network drives.

Our organization has multiple network drives that are mapped by group policy. Two are name "Shared" and "Shared2" and mapped to S: and T: respectively.

After opening a drive located on Shared2 (path "T:\Folder\File.pdf") and closing Acrobat, attempting to open the file from Recent file list gives a "File Not Available" error. When this occurs, the location is listed as "S:\2\Folder\File.pdf". It appears there is a substitution being made in the path because "Shared" is in both locations. This occurs every time…

  8. Please make it possible in settings to PERMANENTLY hide page control from the document AND from the toolbar. I was able to get rid of them by selecting "hide page controls" after View, Show/Hide, Page Controls, but the controls appear again when I re-open Adobe. I know page controls can be switched from toolbar to document, and I know all the tool bars can be hidden. But I don't want to hide all the tools - I've customized the tool bar with the tools I use all the time. I just want to get rid of the page controls, which…

    Hi,

We released an update for Adobe Acrobat DC that fixes this concern.
So there is no further need of doing any workaround.

This update will be automatically applied to all Acrobat and Reader users in the coming days. You may also update to the latest release by opening the application and going to Help > Check for Updates.
You can also drop an Email to me at ajain@adobe.com to let me know further in this. Thanks.

  9. It would be useful in Preferences to turn on Show Rulers & Guides by Default. At present you have to go to "View / Show/hide / Rulers & Grids" for every new PDF that you open.

Right status is Implemented. Resolved is used when we resolve an issue with help, educating the user, providing workaround etc. Actual work from our side in this case – hence Implemented.

  10. FIX THIS. AND DO NOT CHANGE IT BACK.

  13. Build 19.8.20071 has completely removed the redaction pop-up menu to "repeat mark across pages", "apply redactions", and to choose from the user-defined code set. The only way to apply redaction codes is to manually go into the properties menu on each and every redaction to apply the redaction code.

  15. I am using the latest version of Mac Acrobat DC 2018.011.20038

    1- Make a form field.
2- Select it so you can make a <form> with the OBJR
3- Drag it into its proper spot in the reading order.
4- Then move it even one pixel, it will delete itself. This happens on all fields of any type. It also happens if you just resize any field.

Since this Adobe Forum usually asks questions until people give up on the thread I even made a video of the whole thing:

  19. At the time I got e-signed PDF files from our business partner I could open the files. However suddenly the files got password locked although nobody didn't make password lock on the file.

This phenomena happens under specific environments and not happens under another specific environments I write following.

As additional information, I indexed PDF files including above files. Nevertheless almost all of indexed PDF files haven't gotten password locked, so that I cannot attribute the reason of unintentional password lock to indexing.

Correct status should be ‘Implemented’. ‘Resolved’ is used when we resolve a customer’s concern without making any changes in the software.
