  1. I probably shouldn't have to, because I get an adobe package from my employer, but I paid $190 for a one year Acrobat Pro DC subscription on June 26, 2018. 5 months later, I'm getting a message that my subscription has expired.
    My order # is/ was: ADB034255491
Either fix the problem or refund my money.

  2. Acrobat Pro DC Version 2019.008.20081 - Windows 10 64bit

I configured the initial view setting in the Document properties, such as Page Layout, magnification, open to page, and Window Options
But the initial view configuration is ignored when I open the pdf document, and the Acrobat shows last view settings and page regardless initial view setting.

For example, I set the "Page Layout" with Two up and "Open to Page"
with 1. then save and close. when I reopen the document, the Acrobat shows single page layout view and page 5 as the las view before closing document.

    The Initial…

  5. Email addresses now support special characters as the first character of the local address in an email address and following characters. Acrobat/Reader does not allow these characters within the local address.

  7. I have already reported the fact that, when installing or updating Adobe Acrobat (which happens rather often), the program icon in the Windows menu is incorrect. I know how to bypass the problem by creating manually the good icon, but each time Acrobat is updated, this bad icon reappears (see screenshot).

This is a VERY long lasting bug. So please, fix it!!!

    Thank you

    Hi,

Could you please try the following steps and let us know if the issue is resolved:

    • Delete Adobe Acrobat icon from the Start Menu, the desktop and from the taskbar.
    • Go to C: > ProgramData > Microsoft > Windows > Start Menu > Programs and you’ll find the " Adobe Acrobat DC " with the wrong icon. The that looks like a shortcut. Delete it and close the window.
    • Go to C: > Program Files (x86) > Adobe > Acrobat DC > Acrobat and find Acrobat.exe
    • Right click on Acrobat.exe > Send to > Desktop
    • Right click again on Acrobat.exe > Pin to Start Menu… and close the window
    • Right click on Acrobat.exe – shortcut (that you just created on your desktop) > Copy
    • Go back to: C: > ProgramData > Microsoft > Windows > Start Menu > Programs… and Paste the…

  8. Steps to reproduce the issue: Open Acrobat and move window from one screen to another.
Environment (OS, other related application versions, etc.) Mac OS 10.14.1, 2018 MacBook Pro
    Expected result: Should not crash
    Observed result: Crashes consistently

  9. DUPLICATE SUBMISSION WITH ATTACHMENT EXAMPLES
The Acrobat Reader DC basic version has a very helpful "Save as" function where it brings up a user friendly window with 4-5 recently used folders, as well as the option to then browse further for another folder if needed. the Adobe Acrobat DC PRO version has a very different, very limited "save as" usability, where it defaults to a temp internet folder (that i cannot even find), which i will almost certainly never use as well. As far as i can tell there is no way to set a different default save as location…

    Hi,

If you wish to see the Save As dialog in Acrobat as per the “Save as ok” image shared by you, Kindly do as follows.
    1) Open Acrobat → Edit → Preferences → General
    2) Select the Checkbox “Show online storage when Saving files”

Try to Save as any pdf and check that you’ll see this dialog.
Let me know if that solves your concern.

Also please let me know the current version of Acrobat DC that you are using.

  10. As you are well aware, the users of Adobe Acrobat (or similar products) usually apply ‘Highlight Text’ to highlight or summarize parts of the text or the book that they are reading in PDF format.

After finishing to read the text, if the user can have the ability to extract (in one step) all the highlighted parts in the format of a MS Word or other PDF file; this can be very handy and helpful; since this way the user can easily make an outlined summary of the read text or book ready for future references.

    I wonder if the…

  12. I'm using Adobe Acrobat DC and MadCap Flare 2018 r2 on a Windows 10 operating system.

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Build a PDF in Flare.
    2. Open the PDF from inside Flare.
    3. Double-click on a different PDF in Windows Explorer.

    Expected result: Second PDF opens.
Actual result: Second PDF does not open. The error message that shows up sometime later says: Acrobat failed to connect to a DDE server.

MadCap support has been unable to resolve the issue.

  13. There is a bug in this software that does not allow you to save the document. A blank window pops up and nothing shows, i.e. where the file could be saved. Only after several attempts does the "save as" window fully show up. What is the solution for this bug?

  14. Acrobat DC. since the update on 10.23.18, will not open files, making it rather useless. I have tried uninstall/reinstall; this will get one file opened one time. On a second launch, it again will not open any file. Am I going to have to uninstall/reinstall EVERY time I want to open a file?

  16. Document made in Acrobat Pro DC 2018 and sent for review.
Came back with multiple comments. Those of them that got fixed got marked. Then I could come back later and show only unmarked comments. It works just fine in 2018 version. But with New Acrobat Pro DC 2019.008.20080 it does not work. As soon as i click on the filter button to sort the comments the whole Acrobat gets jammed. I have tried several times, also restarted computer. So there must be something wrong here.

    Hi ,
Thanks for reaching out to us. We regret the inconvenience caused to you.
We have tried at our end to reproduce the issue but we are unable to do so.
Can you provide the review link of the review file or a local copy of the review file with all the comments to investigate further ?

  17. I purchased the Adobe PDF Pack in August 2018 but now, each time I try to convert a file, I get a message saying that my trial has expired and I must buy to continue. Please tell me how to fix this or return the money I paid. Thank you.

  19. Currently, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is not 100% ADA compliant. Specifically, one cannot create or edit PDFs if one uses a screen reader to navigate around their computer screen (i.e. is blind/visually impaired). I currently use JAWS 2018, Windows 10, and have Acrobat Pro DC. I've attempted to create and edit from combining PDFs, using copies, etc. I've even tried using some of your tutorial items to test with and have had the same results (ex. Bodea's Brochure -- the brochure your website tutorial has specifically for practicing editing).
