    Thanks for reach out to us. It will be great if you could share the below information :

    1. Machine configuration like OS version etc.
    2. Acrobat version (Go to Help→About Adobe Acrobat Pro DC)
    3. User id with you have logged in Acrobat.
    4. Exact set of steps you are trying to execute

    Also is the issue occurring with a particular type of file ?

  4. When I open up a document on my Macbook which has been scanned in using Adobe Scan (on my phone) then Adobe crashes. Mostly it does this before I can save the files to local disk. Once on local disk, it opens them OK.

  5. AMS has 2, 500 Acrobat Pro DC (desktop only) licenses. Is it possible to know how many invited users have actually installed Adobe Pro DC on their machines? We know that a few of the invited users have downloaded & installed Adobe Pro DC. How many of the invited users need to download & install Adobe Pro DC?

  7. I do not know what your programmers did to the Adobe products in the 2018 version but all Acrobat and Illustrator keep doing is crashing my computer. I reinstalled 2017 Illustrator but there is not a rollback for Acrobat. Please tell your programmers that "Just because you can does not mean you should"

    I am sorry for the inconvenience you are facing, next time you see Acrobat crash, can you please save the crash logs and attach them here, it will help us to narrow down the issue.

  8. Acrobat keeps closing for no reason and it is NOT autosaving my files.I already pay a subscription fee every month and you want ANOTHER $80 to help me. I didn't choose to close the program I didn't have a choice and charging $80 for something that is YOUR fault is daylight robbery

    Apologies for the trouble, can you provide the Acrobat version you are using. Also does Acrobat quits with a crash? if yes kindly provide the crash logs.

  9. I can't open PDFs, I tried everything from disabling javascript, turning protected mode off, to formatting my laptop. It always pops out with a javascript window expired. I've attached a photo below. If I disable javascript I am able to open the file but there is no content, if it is enabled then once I open the file it the pop up appears and when I click ok it closes the file.

    Hi Rai,

    I suppose you are facing this with a particular set of PDF’s. Can you please provide one such PDF. Also please provide the version of Acrobat you are using.

  10. When you combined individual subfolders within a master folder when creating a PDF Portfolio, the previous Acrobat Pro allowed you to do this feature with one click. The current Acrobat Pro DC software requires that you create a portfolio and manually add the individual folders. Please add back the option for the one-click subfolder integration!

  11. Sadly , there is no way to trigger the Custom Action Items created in Acrobat DC Conditionally:
    Examples:
    1. If the Page number is > 5 then RUN Action item else Skip.
    2. If the bookmarks are available/unavailable then RUN Action item 'x' else RUN Action item 'y'.
    3. If the Page orientation is A3 then Skip Action item.

    It gets harder because:
    Even with Custom commands it is not possible to Call/RUN an already saved Action Item.
    Example:
    if (this.numPages > 5) -> Call/Run a Action Item "eX;Set open Options" -> Then Save the file.

    As of now, Adobe scan app is not implemented for Windows. We will update you if its done in near future.

  13. When printing long documents (books etc.) it would be great to be able to add blank pages, that does not exist in the PDF in order to get a correct double sided print.The size of the blank page could e.g. depend on the page size before the blank.

    3. Add option to right click menu to search in {SEARCH ENGINE OF CHOICE}

  14. AABDC needs 'Smart Lookup' capabilities like what is in MS Word 2016 to be able to look up phrases, not just SINGLE words.

    I want to be able to highlight something such as a persons name and then 'right click' on it and have a 'drop down' link to Google search the name or other selected phrases.

  17. When macs left unattended and Acrobat pro running the application increasing consumes CPU time and memory. Coming in the next morning my machine is extremely slow to respond. This is happening on two mac machines I use.. one Sierra 10.12.6 and one High sierra. Both machine regularly use MS office applications and Saffari and Chrome browsers. Both utilize Mcafee. Acrobat will not close unless being forced to do so.

  18. In Acrobat XI Pro and Acrobat DC, when using the Advanced settings in Print, items such as Screening do not actually persist with saved custom profiles. If you select settings and save it under a new profile, switch to another and then view the profile where you had the desired settings, the settings will be found to never have saved in the first place.

    Additionally there is no way to save these custom profiles as a default.

  19. Here's an idea...whenever trying to edit a picture and this ANNOYING message pops up:
    "The object you selected uses transparency and might look different in your editing application. Furthermore, the appearance of the page may change in unexpected ways after this object is edited. Do you want to edit this object anyway?"

    A NEW OPTION appears > DO NOT ASK AGAIN FOR EVER AND EVER THRU ETERNITY. THANKS
