Roman Numerals (Page Labels) in headers
I would like the ability to add Roman Numerals in headers. Right now, adding a page number within the Headers and Footers dialog box does not allow me to use Roman Numerals (page labels).
We have logged a bug for this issue. We will update you, once the engineering team will prioritize the bug and fix it.
Thanks.

This is an inconsistent problem. I have one system that can print it while another cannot. Both running the same version of Adobe Acrobat XI Pro 11.23

One more vote for this. I used Page Labels to set all the page numbers to the format I wanted (different prefixes for different sections, etc.--a non-trivial exercise), but there appears to be no way to add the Page Label text to the actual page in place of the page number. That would seem like an obvious feature to have, and not hard to implement.

Ideally, one should be able to add page numbers in headers that track the page labels.

I am another DC user who wants to see this sorted out.Come on Adobe - it can't be that hard!

It is petty that one can't use Roman numerals in footers for page numbering in adobe acrobat pro 2017?

Important for me too (using Adobe DC),
seems like being forced to buy a third party tool just for page numbering - seems wired while paying DC Premium fee. -

2½ years and Adobe has done nothing about this issue. Adobe calls it customer "support".
