Read out loud
Because of my dyslexia, I would benefit from Adobe reading the text aloud as I scan the words. But it never works! How can I get the “Read Aloud” function to work?

We have made some improvements in ROL recently. Can you please confirm is the issue is resolved with the latest version on Acrobat/Reader?

Read out Loud has some issues on Mac. While we are reviewing your request, you can try using VoiceOver in its place.

Additionally, can you please share if you are trying to use Read Out Loud on Windows or Mac OS.

Hi Sam,
Try opening the PDF in Adobe Reader and press Ctrl+Shift+Y and then Ctrl+Shift+V.
