Turning Off Tab view breaks puggin Tools
Tabbed View by default isn't suitable as documents are often compared visually & make better use of multiple screen space. However Turning Off Tabbed view now breaks (hides) 3rd Party Plugin tools (namely Enfocus Pitstop Pro).
Because a restart is required to re-enable Tabbed viewing, that causes loss of changes, or having to save/discard multiple changes potentially on multiple documents.
& Because I'm here.... NOT A SINGLE Feature added to Acrobat DC has been an improvement.

I am also having this problem. This is beyond a frustration or inconvenience and is making Acrobat a liability to my work. Tabbed view is useless to me and my plug-ins are mission critical.
I have spent hours on this over the past few days with three separate Support chats in which this issue was a complete mystery to the support staff.

A fix is required for anyone using third party plug-ins that have found that the plug-ins have gone after an update. This was reported by Enfocus at the following url: https://www.enfocus.com/en/support/known-issues-and-solutions#!/SupportPortalSolution?id=501570000018YbEAAU
They are claiming it is an Adobe Acrobat issue rather than their plug-in. Either way, it's frustrating and needs to be resolved

After installing the last Updates we have an all Clients with Acrobat Pro the problem that the Icons from Plugins such as Pitstop are missing under Tools. The problem only exists if we start Acrobat without the Option to Open documents as new tabs in the same window. If we start Acrobat with the option enabled, everything is normal.
The Clients are on Windows 10 64bit and Windows 7 64bit. We have the latest Acrobat Pro DC Version 2017.012.20095

This is also an issue that we are having. It only started happening after the 2017.012.20095 update. Enabling the Tab View option is a workaround but it's not ideal

We have seen a new issue with Acrobat Pro DC 2017.012.20095 and multiple plug-ins. We are aware that it affects plug-ins from multiple vendors.
The plug-ins add tools which appear in the tool pane, can be added to the right hand pane, and appear as options in Quick Tools. So long as Tabbed mode is selected, this works as in previous updates to DC.
However, starting with this update, if tabs are switched off in Preferences, the plug-in tools do not appear in the tools pane, right hand pane, quick tools selection, or quick tool bar. They return if tabs are switched back on. The plug-in remains installed and active, with menu items that it added still working normally whether or not tabs are activated.Seen in both Mac and Windows. Please contact me for a link to a third party plug-in that shows this, if required
