Headers and footers should use document's page labels instead of inventing page labels
I want to suggest an improvement to Acrobat Professional:
When adding headers or footers to a document, I suggest that the mechanism use the document's page numbers, instead of inventing its own.
For example, my document has page numbers A.1 through A.29 followed by B.1 through B.7 followed by C.1 through C.6 ... followed by V.1 through V.11.
Right now, it seems that the only way I can get the actual page numbers to accurately appear in the footer is Add 22 different footers. That's an onerous task.

I also need it, I work very hard to add correct page labels, but then when I try to add them to the document it is not possible. There is this tool -

but it cost 70$ -

This is a difficulty that I constantly find, especially when adding headings only to a range of pages in a document. since my page labels also generally run i, ii, iii, iv, 1, 2, 3, etc, it is often impossible to know which page range one wants a given header to apply to.

This is a very good request.
Another example: My pages are labled i, ii, iii, iv, 1, 2 ,3, 4. I need the page numbers in the header to match those pages labels.
Currently, the pages labels and page numbers in the header must be set independently. This is an unnecessary duplication. There should be an option to synchronize them.

Hello,
Please confirm if we understood your issue well :
You have a file which has currently in footer A.1 through A.29 followed by B.1 through B.7 followed by C.1 through C.6 ... followed by V.1 through V.11
And now you want to update footer as 1,2,3,4.....
Thanks
