Issue combining PDF documents

Hi,
We are having multiple people at our organization having issues with the "Combine PDF" function when using Acrobat DC. When they combine anything (pdfs only, a mix of pdf and docx, pptx, etc) they will get the new document, but certain pages will be blanked out with all the original text deleted. All they get is the background image if there is one, but no text will remain. This seems to be a random occurance as it affects different files and different pages within these files.
As this is random, I cannot provide a set of steps that will guarantee that this issue will happen.
Environment:
Windows 10 x64 LTSB 1709
Both Acrobat DC and Reader are installed on these workstations
Microsoft Office ProPlus 2016

Hi, I am having issues combining PDF files. I keep getting an error response saying Error during processing (File skipped). I am not sure what this error is all about.
