Bug: Valid JPEG inside PDF fails to decode in Acrobat DC
Bug: The attached PDF file has a perfectly valid JPEG image (1200x1600 RGB, progressive), but Acrobat DC reports "There was an error while reading a stream." Every other application can display the PDF fine (Dropbox, Microsoft Edge, PDF Expert, Google Chrome, etc). If the JPEG stream is extracted to a .jpg file byte for byte, every viewer can display it. I don't know what causes Acrobat to fail to decompress (DCTDecode).
Issue is fixed in latest DC build.

Hi Soumik,
Sorry, it must have been fixed in the updates since I reported it. It cannot be reproduced with Acrobat DC anymore, which is great. Acrobat XI (11.0.23) still pops up the error message "An internal error occurred" as soon as I open the PDF. I have no 3rd party add-ins. I can provide any help necessary, but I now consider Acrobat DC fixed, and it was a recent fix.

Hi Tamas,
I am able to open the file in both standalone Acrobat and IE.Can you specify when exactly you face the issue? Is it while opening in browser/Acrobat?
A video demo showing the steps would be helpful
