Combine use of stylus and fingerpint
I do a lot of pdf commenting, and I use a stylus/pen on a touch screen laptop to make this easier. The problem is that once I turn on the highlighter tool, I can't use my finger to scroll through the document, because Acrobat doesn't distinguish between the finger input and the stylus input. So I have to manually switch back and forth between the highlight tool and the arrow tool. Most other touch-capable PDF programs distinguish between finger input and stylus input, allowing you to scroll through the document with your finger and then highlight as needed. Is there…

Change the text size/font style of a measured dimension!
I think the measure tool in Acrobat Pro is very useful. But It is not possible to change the text size/font style of a measured dimension!
I'm sorry, it would be very useful if Adobe put it on5 votes -
Single button converter for Metric to English (without loss of image quality)
We get documents form a few of our clients in metric sizes. But we only print in English sizes. "Fit' or "shrink to fit" in the print screen works but it alters the sizes of the text and results in off center paragraphs and blocks of text.
Would be nice if we could just go to a tool that would reposition the images and text to fit on standard English sizes. An alternate solution might be if we could reflow the text onto blank standard sheets (and resize images with handles) as needed.

Common punctuation is not currently available: Em Dash
In MS word or ppt, if you click 2 hypens -- and then a space, it turns the 2 hyphens into an em dash. In google docs, you have to select substitutions and find the right dash (it's a pain, but you can do it). In Acrobat, I want to insert an em dash and I can't see how to do it, so I'm stuck using 2 hyphens -- and it looks very unprofessional.

Adobe not opening pdf attachments from WORD doc to PDF doc.
Adobe MUST create automatic links generated by the system to open pdf attachments migrating from a WORD document, Presently a pdf attachment from WORD to PDF DOES NOT OPEN IN THE PDF DOCUMENT! This is not business friendly. the customer should not have to learn how to create links for the PDF attachments to open!

Insert special characters or symbols directly in Adobe
It would be nice if there would be a menu available to insert special characters or symbols directly in Adobe, as is available in f.e. Word.
Now, you have to use the ALT code or you need to copy paste the special character from a different application to Adobe.1 vote -

Functionality of Header & Footer tool
Functionality of Header&Footer is poor comparing to NitroPro software. Nitro has ability to create hyperlinks in header/footer. In addition I can give any title to this hyperlink. It's very useful. I include screenshot in attachment. I would to have this function in Acrobat.

Mark up options
Further to highlighting /marking text without a comment, could you please do the same for the shapes and lines, sometimes i just want to add a rectangle or circle without adding a comment.

Adobe Document Cloud Shapes
1) Drawing shapes
2) For some reason, you can add shapes using Adobe comment tool on Acrobat DC, but you can not do it in an Adobe Document Cloud file.
3) This Feature is needed so that AE firms can collaborate and redline drawings more efficiently.

Bug report: Acrobat Pro DC on Mac mangles format when text color is changed
When attempting to change the color of some text in Acrobat Pro DC, the text format is sometimes badly messed up. This happens with text from Acrobat's OCR as well as text imported from other applications. I'm attaching a file that shows both of these cases. To reproduce the problem, open the file in Acrobat Pro DC (on Mac), select Edit PDF, select all of the text on the page, and change the color of the text to black - the text format will get badly mangled when the color is changed. Very frustrating! Changing the color should just change…

Acrobat DC crashes when clicking Edit PDF
The crash is persistent across all user accounts on this windows 10 computer. I tried checking for updates (none available), repair uninstallation, re-installation, and a clean uninstall using the Adobe cleanup tool. I originally suspected Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit which has been on the computer for over a year, so I uninstalled it but the behavior persists. The faulting module is IDRSKRN15.DLL.

Unproductive Piece of Software
So I was given a form by Australian Government to fill in.
I filled it in and signed it and saved it.
Oops there's a typo on page 1.
Can you easiliy change ths (update it). No obviously not.
This is where Adobe Acrobat DC becomes so unproductive. There is no intuative way to correct this error apart from filling out new form. Which I will do now.
Thanks a lot Adobe...
John

8 PAGE FILE WILL NOT CONVERT TO OCR
I am trying to edit an 8 page document and when it is about 5 pages through the conversion process to OCR it closes and does not complete. It would be nice if I could still edit a document without it needing to convert to OCR. I always undo OCR anyways.

How To Correct The Missing Highlighter Feature in Acrobat Pro DC, etc.
After multiple Adobe Community searches trying to find how to correct the ongoing issue of not being able to apply a simple highlight feature to PDF text in Pro DC, we began to troubleshoot the issue on our end. Thanks to our IT manager, we finally found the root problem and then resolved it to correct this issue so that the highlighter tool now works as it should. There's an error with a default setting in the program. If Adobe has already resolved the highlighter situation, that's great. If not, please contact me to chat about the corrective measure needed.…
