can't rename portfolio components
There's no way for me to edit the name (or the description) of a portfolio option. There's no Edit Value option in the right-click menu, and the fields aren't editable when I click view information. From what I can tell, this has been an issue for months.

Making Adobe acrobat actually work would be a start!
I HAVE to use Adobe Acrobat as I frequently need to mark up pdf files for editing. I pay for the professional version. This is the most frustrating and useless software I have even encountered. It crashes numerous times, gets stuck in odd routines to "prepare files for editing"; this software is making me very unproductive purely because of its bugginess. Really odd 'feature' on comment markup when adding things in superscript, where it then places them in subscript (absolute shambles to mark things up for typesetters when the software does this!!). I've been gnashing my teeth for several years…

Help that actually works
I'm looking for help for a particular feature. I don't want a ******* tutorial. The help panel is ******* useless. I want to type in the feature i need, and have options from there. Instead, you present me with this panel full of mostly irrelevant options. In particular, the crop tool should actually CROP SOMETHING. Instead, i've got a keyline with handles of some kind around the part of the page I want to crop.

Could you please just STOP CHANGING THINGS?
I had to spend A FULL HOUR OF MY WORK DAY today just trying to figure out how to add text to a PDF. Why? Because the "Add Text" and "Edit Text" features have now changed such that, instead of adding text where you click, they open up a bunch of raster layers which totally destroy the entire document if you try to type in them.
Every time I used the "Add Text" or "Edit Text" it would rearrange all of the text of the form I was trying to fill out in ways that turned the entire document into…

Don't allow a user to make lots of changes and never save them. I made 30 minutes worth of critical changes, saving them as I went, and Adobe saved none of them. The file I called back up from Adobe after closing my work was the same unaltered file. No warning. Nothing from Adobe. Horrible!

Organize pages - edit
While in organizing pages, I would like to be able to use the highlighter and stamps.
We have to highlight and approve a lot of invoices, it would be so much faster if I could do that in the organized pages mode.1 vote -

Enable Grouping of Images and text boxes in 'Edit PDF' mode. This functionality existed in earlier versions and is critical for maintaining layout integrity in documents that require consistent visual alignment. Please consider restoring or enhancing this feature for Professional users.

Display measurements label for areas
When using the measure objects tools, the measurement is conveniently displayed against lengths, however not when measuring areas. The only way of knowing the calculated area is by hovering over it, or viewing the comments bar, which is not useful when sharing a locked version or printing off the document.

Some letters are not working properly.
I am trying to edit but eveytime i type "a" it becomes "ä" and also when i try to type capital "O" it becomes captial "D". Please help me with this i need to edit this document urgently

Better support for IPADOS with Magic Keyboard cases
When using an IPAD with an apple Magic Keyboard case there is no support for the arrow keys, which makes editing text in a PDF a joke, Please fix this most basic feature!!!!
Also the cursor works with about half the features in the app. For example when editing text if i use the keyboards trackpad to double tap text so i can edit the text in the text box, it doesn’t work. It only works if you double tap the touch screen.

I am a paying Adobe Acrobat Pro subscriber, and I'm baffled that Acrobat does not provide a basic feature to split a tall single-page PDF (such as a webpage screenshot or a scrolled report) into sequential vertical slices that each fit on standard 8.5x11 pages.

Choosing a default font for "Prepare Form"
Editing auto generated form text fields for a long document is a NIGHTMARE.
why on earth would i have to MANNUALY change EACH and every field?
what's the use of the preferences being set to a font i prefer for it just to be reverted back to Helvetica?
Either you unify the font preferences or just make a section for form preparation font to allow us to choose for it as well

It would be nice to have an easy way to make the font, color and text style match that on the document being edited. This feature would be similar to the format painter option used in Microsoft Excel. The user keys the text edits and select a word or two from the documents existing text. Once highlighted, right click the text selection, and select copy format, and then they would select the text they added, right click on it and have an option to "copy format here" or something like that. the program decided to change all the letter t into f for the whole document (250 pages) when i went to save it

Waste of time
Advertise the online editor as FREE and makes me sign up. Then required a license to edit the file. What a waste of my time.
