  1. Quit ****** around with the user interface! It takes a valuable amount of time to RELEARN where the **** everything is. Then after 4-5 months of ******** at your screen because you don't use it every day, you finally get where everything is. Then the next big update the **** cycle starts over!

  2. New abode has made it nearly impossible to change the scale on the measuring tool. It is no longer a simple right click. You have to make a random measurement and hope and pray that when you right click next, the option to change scale shows up. This is a ridiculous change that needs to be addressed.

  4. The new toolbar that hovers on top of the document obscures the reading area on certain devices (like laptops with smaller screens and netbooks) especially when the comments pane is open. It's bizarre to me that Adobe didn't account for different use cases before implementing something like this. It's like whoever made this change viewed their 4k monitor at 100% without ever zooming in and said, "Yeah, this is good. No reason to view this in any other way."

    Possible solutions.

    1. Ditch the floating toolbar altogether. It seems pointless to be able to move the toolbar to a different area…

  5. Why does the program keep losing Starred Files list. This has happened to me second time and it's frustrating!

  6. The engineers for New Adobe forgot that people don't just use Adobe to create and manipulate documents -- the other half of the equation is that the documents are also going to be READ. This New Adobe puts the bookmarks on the right side of the page with no option to switch the view to how people actually read which is left to right. SO FRUSTRATING. I won't be able to use New Adobe ever if you leave it this way.

  7. Need this feature back, when moving a tab out of the window, to open it up in a new window.
This was very useful, to allow side-by-side comparisons.

  8. Sidebars used to have ability to be hidden by default, but now cannot be; please bring this feature back. I work with many drawings saved as PDF in landscape layout, and with the sidebars automatically open at start the files are always shrunk to fit-to-width, which means my workflow is impacted by needing to close these side bars every time the files are open.

  9. I use Acrobat to present .pdf presentations. Really only feature I need is full-screen mode. I can access it with two clicks under "Fit one page within the window" menu from the bottom part of the right side menu. Full-screen mode being such key feature, I think it deserves a one-click solution.

  10. If you're using a non-English version of Acrobat, the dropdown menu that appears when selecting the option to Convert a PDF file to a Word or Power Point file is not in alphabetical order. I'm using the Spanish version (see attached picture) and, as you can see, since German is "Alemán" in Spanish, I'd expect it to find it where the A is, not where the G is. Can you please fix this? This is horrible to see and work with, and I'd wager it isn't that difficult to change. Thank you.

  11. Former versions of Acrobat (I believe versions 10 and below), prior to Acrobat DC, had the capability of showing tools on two rows at the top of the document pane and suggest consideration for returning to that type of user interface.

The lack of colorization of icons in DC, the basic shapes and the inability to show nearly all tools in the toolbar makes it very difficult and time consuming to edit and markup documents. Detailed, colorized tool icons of old, combined with the ability of truly customizable, multiple toolbars would make Acrobat much more productive.

    Is there any way…

  12. Latest version on Win11 Pro as of today 12/7/2024. Updated Windows to 24H2 and Acrobat is broken. When I launch Acrobat on a PDF file or from Start Menu or from Creative Cloud app, a process starts each time, but no window maps. Currently I have 30 Acrobat processes showing in Task Manager but not one window is registered with Windows (nothing in the taskbar, no Acrobat window showing in Alt-Tab or Windows-Tab). Earlier today I uninstalled Acrobat, rebooted, reinstalled Acrobat (from Creative Cloud app), and I was able to launch and use Acrobat. I thought I'd resolved the problem,…

  13. It's super annoying we cannot hide the side bars. If I am editing two pdf's side by side they take up a LOT of space. This is a professional app. Also a very expensive all. Why don't we have complete and configurable key commands that we can use instead of giving up 30% of our screen space to toolbars?

  14. Currently there is no support for dark mode on reader, To simulate dark mode like experience we have to change settings in Preferences -> Accessibility -> Replace Document Colors. If we select the 'Replace Document Colors' option and in that we select 'Use High-Contrast Colors' and check the 'Change the color of line art as well as text', the bookmarks text color also switches to dark making it unreadable.

  15. I have been searching for the "Take Snapshot" tool which used to be on I believe the Edit menubar dropdown. Now, it's no longer there and I can't find it listed among the various icons. I use the search bar and it pops up.

Not three seconds later, I want to use it again.... it's completely gone. There's no indication what menu it is on or any method to locate it for the future.

What is so offensive about this new UX is not that you moved everything... that sucks, but it we would learn eventually the new layout. What…

  16. When right clicking on a PDF document tab, there's an option that would in English be "Locate in Finder" but they have translated it literally, although "Finder" is "Finder" in Swedish as well.

Hence, change "Hitta i sökare" to "Hitta i Finder".

  17. The latest version is just bad. I don't understand why the UI could be changed to such an extent that it is no longer intuitive to use.

Please go back to the older version!

  18. I am having a hard time editing my documents. I can't find tools. There is a "search for tools function" but it only searches the document and not for tools. Is there an easy way to go back to the earlier version as I'm finding this version very non functional. For instance, it keeps turning on a grid, which is irritating. One time, after about 15 min, I found a way to turn it off (using Google search!) but now I can't find it again. We should be able to search for a tool.

  19. When upgrading a base installation of Acrobat DC to "Upgrade Key Features", the visual indicator is just a blue bar that bounces back and forth. This gives no information about the update process, what it's doing or how far it is along in the process. This feature could be greatly improved by adding a progress bar to give users a better idea of what to expect or if any troubleshooting may be needed.
