  1. Access to our most used actions in a toolbar is excellent, but the floating toolbar is so annoying because it is on top of the content of the opened document. It would be better if we could customise where the toolbar should be and have the ability to dock it without it so it is not on top of the content.
Older versions of Adobe Acrobat Pro allowed it to be on the top horizontally, which used to work perfectly for me. Please let users decide how best to interact with Adobe Acrobat Pro.

  3. Prior to recent update, when wanted to visually compare or read two documents simultaneously could drag by the doc tab to make new window. Now that crashes whole session - their is also a bug in the menu function open new window, it does move the open document to a new window, it also leave sit in the other session so you to close it manually - made working with multiple windows very time consuming and difficult

  4. Toolbar position and snapshot tool:

Guys, whoever authorized the new user interface obviously does not use Acrobat!

The snapshot tool is one of the most commonly used tools, and removing it is simply ridiculous.

Then removing the ability to integrate the floating toolbar to the top or right bars is so annoying. Who wants a toolbar floating over the document they are trying to read?

Very, very disappointed with those user unfriendly changes.

  5. The application changes such in a often way, that it is impossible to follow using the most used features, so that the UX gets ruined. Furthermore, even though I managed to avoid updates for some time, it always gets updated, resolving all my blockades. This is awful.

  6. edited: After some browsing, is this true that it's a subscription-based option for users not to view this "floating toolbar"?

Scenario is to open or make a document; the all tools menu pops out over the screen.

request is to look In "Preference > General", there should be a new check box and indicating a user that can loads the app without "All Tools" or any tooling menus going to load without user's interaction. With user's interaction, on the screen after app is loaded, Notice the X button close these tools menus, but buttons above for tool menus exists. Click…

  9. Many professionals use Adobe Acrobat to handle PDFs, but its automation and script execution capabilities are limited. Users often rely on external executors to run advanced scripts for document processing.

A built-in optimized script execution system within Acrobat could:
    ✔️ Improve workflow automation
    ✔️ Reduce manual repetitive tasks
✔️ Enhance compatibility with custom scripts

For those interested in external solutions, you can check https://delta-executor.pro/, which offers an efficient approach to script execution.

Would love to hear thoughts from the community—how do you currently automate your Acrobat tasks?

  11. Starting recently, Adobe Reader does not remember my preferred open size across multiple monitors. I open pdf's in that are 'normalized' (not maximized or minimized) across multiple monitors. In the past Adobe reader would remember my preferred window position across multiple monitors. It no longer does, but opens normalized filling one monitor. Adobe Acrobat Reader 2004.005.20320 64 bit on Windows 10 22H2 (OS Build 19045.5371) latest version.

    Thanks,
    John Haigerty

  13. Get your fingers out of my business. I pay the full price to use your software. So stop shoving pop-ups for new functions and other services in my face. I'm trying to work here. I'm not here for fun, and I sure as **** am not here for YOU. It's supposed to be the other way around. You're supposed to be the industry leader; act like it or I'll find another provider. They'll still push pop-ups in front of me, but they'll charge half the price for it. You should be ashamed.

  14. Once 1 pdf is open, opening other pdfs' has a severe lag, sometimes minutes before 2rd, 3rd, etc. pdf will open.
I need to open multiple pdfs in separate windows and cross analyze them, and after opening the 1st pdf the lag becomes so slow that we are actively looking for other programs besides Adobe for creating/editing pdfs.

  15. Can we please have the old Acrobat UI back? I hate, HATE this new interface! What was the reason to completely change the look of Acrobat? I'd much rather the effort go into making the program more stable than ruining the user interface. Adobe has been swinging and missing far too often lately.

  17. Dear Adobe Team,

I would like to suggest an improvement for Adobe Acrobat: the addition of a small preview pop-up when hovering over bookmarks, internal links, or external links within a PDF. Many modern applications provide such a feature, allowing users to quickly preview the destination before clicking.

This enhancement could greatly improve navigation efficiency, especially for users working with large PDFs containing extensive bookmarks, cross-references, or hyperlinks. A small pop-up showing the linked page, section title, or even a thumbnail of the target page would make it easier to locate information without unnecessary clicks.

    Would it be possible to…

  18. Dear Adobe Team,

I would like to suggest an improvement for Adobe Acrobat regarding the Bookmarks panel width adjustment. Currently, every time a PDF is reopened, the Bookmarks panel resets to its default width, requiring manual resizing each time. This can be inconvenient, especially for users who frequently work with PDFs that contain extensive bookmarks.

I kindly request that Adobe Acrobat include:

A setting to customize the default width of the Bookmarks panel, allowing users to define a preferred size in the application preferences.
An option to remember the adjusted width after resizing, so that the panel remains at the…

  19. The "+ Create" button needs to be removed from the Tab bar and placed onto the All Tools bar. I routinely hit the Create button when intending to resize or move the Acrobat window, the button quite literally couldn't be in a worse place. (Even just moving it to the front of the tabs would alleviate the issue) The only option to hide the button is to disable the new Acrobat, which is ridiculous.
