  1. As a whole, Acrobat is an unable piece of ****. It hangs, crashes or malfunctions on PC and Mac, Intel, Silicon and AMD. This last version simply freezes or features like read aloud fail after first use. I would love Acrobat to become abandonware.

  2. Once I click on Apply on the Flattener Preview the document is flattened. There is no further need for the Preview window to stay visible. It should close automatically. It should not require the extra step of X-ing out of it.

  5. Dragging a program window is difficult due to the limited space on the toolbar that can be "grabbed" with the cursor.
Is it possible to also add to the View->Show/Hide option:
    - a shortcut to help (?),
    - a shortcut to other application offers,
    - a shortcut to log in?

This applies particularly to working without using multiple monitors and/or multiple documents at once and/or with other applications in parallel.

In addition, the Windows System->Multitasking->Drag windows option, which allows for arranging windows without the traditional dragging method, is extremely inefficient (for example, due to automatic adjustment to the maximum height,…

  6. When you have multiple documents open, they appear as tabs on the top of the screen. The tabs are really large. When you have a split screen (so sharing Adobe with a different software at the same time on your screen), only one tab shows at a time because the tabs are so large. It makes it very difficult to move between documents. The old version of Acrobat Pro had the tabs smaller so you could more easily navigate between documents at once.

  7. Supposedly, I have Acrobat Reader installed - I honestly can't even tell. That's what the menu has anyway, "About Acrobat Reader". Everywhere else it's just "Adobe Acrobat". I clicked on Share feedback, it took me to this page - "Acrobat for Windows and Mac". But in that long list on the left, there's a separate link/section "Acrobat Reader for Windows and Mac". Like I said, I can't even tell this much, not with any certainty. And then, supposedly, it's "DC", the version that came after 11 (or was it XI?), but then the About section only says 2025.001.21151. I can't…

  8. When I opened a PDF yesterday, I was shown a hover dialog suggesting I install a specific "app" and I could not dismiss the dialog without clicking the "Add" button. I clicked outside of the dialog. I clicked on it. There was no close button. I had to click Add, and then I cancelled the installation.

  9. In Adobe Reader, don't use the text color from the document in for the text in the bookmark pane UI, as it may make it hard to read depending on the selected theme. Instead, use the same color as the rest of the UI. Or at least provide an option.

  12. Please give option to remove that toolbar from the page. Whenever i try and concentrate on reading document it always gets attention. Better have the option to hide from the main screen.

  13. Product: Adobe Acrobat (Creative Cloud)
    Version: 25.001.21111 (64-bit)
    OS: Windows 11

Adobe Acrobat 2025.x forces all web hyperlinks in PDF files to open in Microsoft Edge, ignoring the Windows default browser.

Prior versions allowed users and enterprises to control this behavior via preferences or registry settings. Those controls have been removed or no longer function.

This is a regression that breaks expected OS behavior for users and organizations standardized on Chrome or Firefox.

Please restore a user-visible preference or honor the system default browser.

  14. I'm running into an issue where I open certain files (invoice forms) all made from the same template and the fields are blank and an error shows up regarding ArialMT font being missing. Found that if we disable "New Acrobat" the file opens normally, but this disables the page organization sidebar I like to use. Once we re-enable "New Acrobat" it works normally again until the next restart. Then the issue recurs. I believe there is some kind of bug causing this graphical malfunction.

  16. I rely on your software at work, but lately it feels like every time I try to do something simple—like rotate a page, highlight a sentence, or reorder a couple of pages—I end up clicking on an ad instead of the actual tool. Even features that aren’t behind a paywall get buried under pop‑ups, banners, or buttons that look like they’ll perform the task but actually take me to a subscription pitch.
When I’m just trying to quickly preview a PDF, change the view mode, or add a comment, those upsells interrupt the flow and make basic tasks feel more…

  17. Dear Adobe Acrobat Product Team,
I am writing to flag a usability regression in the current macOS version of Adobe Acrobat Pro.
In previous versions of Acrobat, users could set the Selection (cursor) tool as the default on opening PDFs via the “Always use the Selection Tool” preference. In the latest macOS releases, this option appears to have been removed entirely, with Acrobat now defaulting to the Hand Tool and repeatedly reverting to it during normal document navigation.
For users who work extensively with text—particularly legal, academic, and professional users—this materially degrades workflow efficiency. Selecting, copying, annotating, and marking up…

  18. The old acrobat had buttons that went to previous or next view. These are also accessed in the old and new acrobat with "alt - <" and "alt - >". I generally navigate a document with my hand on the mouse.

To return from clicking on bookmark, it used to be convenient to click on previous view "alt - <" without lift my hand from the mouse. Of course, I would add this function to my customizable toolbar.

Now, this is no longer available, and I have to lift my hand off the mouse and go to the keyboard to…

  19. Please add a global setting in Adobe Reader that prevents the Bookmarks Navigation Pane from automatically opening when a PDF is opened.
Currently, this behavior depends on individual document properties, which means users must manually close the pane every time or rely on inconsistent workarounds. This is disruptive for those who rarely use bookmarks.
A simple preference option (e.g., “Always hide Bookmarks pane on open”) would greatly improve usability and workflow efficiency.
Thank you for considering this enhancement.
