Enable persistent settings for page resize and scrolling
Create a persistent store for the Page Resize and Scrolling options - Just leave them in the same state they were when the app was last closed or provide a tab in the Preferences dialog where they can be set.

YOU HAVE RUINED THIS SOFTWARE
Opens slow, runs slow, locks up... Maybe if you added an option to turn off the constant, unwanted, intelligence insulting pop ups, Adobe could function properly.

Bring back the old layout - I need page numbers front and center
…The new layout is so different than the old that it is hampering my productivity. I thought Adobe was supposed to help users, not take away all the features that I need to see immediately when I open a PDF. Specifically, I need page numbers and the page up and down arrows front and center. I still don't know how to find those. I need to see at a glance if I have time to read a 5 page or 105 page document. Don't hamper users. Make it easy again. Allow users -- and tell us how to do this16 votes -
Irritating user interface
What an irritating user interface seriously. I wonder if the interface designers ever work on their own product. No sense of where to place the tool and task bars. What is the ease of accessibility have you guys created?. Please change back to the previous version. This is the most nonthought of update.

Open multiple files in separate windows, not as tabs in single window.
New Acrobat UI no longer has the option to open to open multiple files in separate windows and defaults to multiple files as tabs in one window. I found the option of great use with older versions. Please bring back this option.

You made the app even worse with this new interface
Really, change it back to the old version and demote the team that thought this was a good idea.

CHANGE THE USER INTERFACE BACK TO PREVIOUS VERSION
I detest this radical change in your user interface for Acrobat. You have destroyed a good product that I use dozens of time a day. There is zero benefit for me from the messed up interface and all manner of difficulty.

Let the user select and arrange the interface
Nothing should be mandatory in terms of floating elements, and users should be allowed to customize placement of buttons on every toolbar including floating toolbars, and customize whether to display them always/as set by document, with traditional arrangements always available as default options.

We Need a Flip (Horizontally) and Stick Floating Toolbar
Please give us a floating bar with flip and stick functionality. The request is two part:
(1) THE FLIP: Please program a floating toolbar that cab be flipped horizontally. The vertical bar can be problematic on both small and large format screens. On small screens it may float over the text (where documents are maximized for readability) making documents less readable (I see this problem commonly in Adobe Discussion threads). My problem is that I use a large screen, and often review wide format documents (maps, plans, etc.) or I am using a two-page view. With my bigger screen, the…

UI
I genuinely am not enjoying the new UI on Adobe. It is clunky, time-consuming, not intuitive, and really quite difficult to navigate. I know it's new, but I've been using it for weeks now and really am struggling with it.

Complaints on New UI
I use Acrobat DC. I recently started using the new UI in December 2023. I think it is much worse than the previous UI. Functions that used to be in the top menu bar are now divided into two menu bars on the sides of the screen, while the area where they used to be is just an empty bar, a complete waste of space. This means there is a narrower part of the screen for the document. Maybe this is why they made it so that you can either see comments, or see bookmarks, but not both at the…

Confusing Layout
Visual designers managed to ruin a tool that was excellent and practical. The environment is now completely different, difficult to use, confusing, with no work flow. I would recommend a book to designers: Steve Krug's "Don't Make Me Think".

Change it back! These new versions are filled with bugs and inconsistencies, leaving the user experience LESS than ideal

can't see menus
Where is my menu bar in Acrobat? I used to have it at the top. Now I don't see it. I right click as the help indicates, but I don't see an option to show/hide the menus. What's happening here? I don't know what version I'm running. I can't even seem to find that either.

I really dont like the new Acrobat layout, its so hard to use
The icons are way too small and are greyed out so not very legible
also the most important icons are buried in the bottom right so drop off your screen completely - the most common thing u do when opening a pdf is to enlarge or shrink the size, its a right pain hunting the icons to do that, every time.11 votes -
The 2024 Acrobat interaction design is EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING
Why did you move everything around and make it infinitely more complicated to do the basic editing tasks I use the most - like copying and pasting pages between pdfs or within a pdf. Everything basics seems harder.
