  1. I wish the pdf uploaded for official communication by various goverment and private agencies with lots of rows and columns don't require to download to view, they are mobile responsive friendly and somehow AI improves the usability of the pdf to web page views on mobile.

  2. Stop with the unsolicited 'try this' pop ups. You aren't google or a CNN website. I don't pay an appalling amount of money to use your service for incessant popup windows

  3. Recently we have updated to SHA-256 IdP.
Unfortunately since then the option to see logon events is not available anymore.
Please make it available again as it helps while troubleshooting or confirm correct functionality after changes.

  4. The latest update of the Acrobat Pro DC has made the application sluggish and cumbersome. Every action causes a window to open saying something about preparing the document for use. It doesn't matter whether I am signing a document or sending it to print, this message pops up and you can;t move forward until it completes whatever action it is doing.

  6. Hi Team,

We are designing Dynamic Forms using adobe LiveCycle Designer which fetch the data from server - az18w1445 (where we have stored .xls files about users information).
To Fetch the data from the required server we used to access the site - http://ie3bvwitss347:8080/ReaderExtensions/Welcome?ap=1which is dependent on flash. Can't we access the adobe reader extension without flash. Do we have any aletrnative to fetch and automatically fill the the data into forms.

  7. I noticed that Acrobat DC's Sheetfed Offset preflight profile no longer warns of fonts with glyph width issues. Unfortunately, I became aware of this after misprinting book covers due to this issue. Although the font Georgia-Italic previews fine within Acrobat, it outputs as shown within Finder's preview. Acrobat X1 and several other preflight applications flag this issue but Acrobat DC does not.

Based on my tests, version 1 of this particular font must be exported from InDesign with the subset fonts option at 100% (rather than the recommended 0%). Although I know how to fix the issue, I need Acrobat…

  8. I understand that you don't support beta OS versions, but it crashes with a document open whenever I do anything. Print, Save, Edit, etc. Also true in Reader. Reported to Apple, also. This will need to be fixed soon or your customer service people will be very unhappy.

  9. Hi,

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC removes Finder's "Tags" and "Date Last Opened" if you save an edited PDF after removing "Text Highlight".

The following procedure can replicate the bug:

    1. Download and open a PDF file such as this from Adobe’s website: https://learndownload.adobe.com/pub/learn/acrobat/edit-text-images-pdf-files.zip

    2. In the macOS Finder, assign a Tag and open the file.

    3. Go back to finder and check the Tag and the Date Last Opened

    4. Go back to the pdf, highlight a line and save the file (first save).

    5. Remove the highlighted text and save the file again (second save).

    6. Now go to the Finder, the "Tag" and the…

  12. The bookmarks are no longer inheriting the zoom level. Even when set to do so. This started three days ago. Clicking on the book mark does nothing but let me edit the name. It does not seem to move to the place, it certainly does not inherit the zoom. Which diminishes the value of the feature immeasurably.

    • currently the link to a shared Document that is opened in a browser is viewed with a panel on the right side, reducing the screen foot print to the user presentation
    • Request that links shared and opened with users be in a Full screen Presentation mode to focus user attention to the contents rather than adobe tool bar
    • asking users to leave a comment is extremely useful however, should never block the full presentation view
    • user comments be with date and accumulative list from all users. Send email notification when a user leave a comment on a shared docyment.

  13. This box I'm typing in has no expansion triangle in the bottom right corner. Although it scrolls, the limited dimensions may be OK for ideas but are a hindrance for bug reporting. The entry space in the Acrobat Support Forums allows all the room one needs and allows the posting of images and video of anomalies. Yet the last couple of times I've reported a bug in Support, I've been redirected to re-report everything here and provide the Uservoice URL. If this is going to be a bug-reporting space as well as an "idea" space, it needs a full-featured editor.

  16. PDF DC needs a way to split a document into multiple files with varying page ranges by name. Under the split feature, there could be a table to fill in (or paste into) a list with "new file names" and the page range for that new file. This way you could extract multiple sections of a PDF at once. If this is not possible, an action script or plugin, as part of DC purchase, to import lists to create bookmarks, rather than manually creating them. This way one could split a file by bookmarks (already a feature) quickly by first…

  17. When signing up for Adobe, the user is shown a checkbox that says "Please don't contact me via email". I ticked this box before proceeding, but I was automatically subscribed to all emails anyway. Please fix the checkbox so users are automatically unsubscribed from all but transactional emails if the box is checked.

  18. At my previous place of employment, we had BlueBeam to manipulate Construction Drawings. This is powerful PDF software.

We used BlueBeam to create Page Labels from different methods. The most common method, "REGION". By Region you highlight anywhere in the drawing, select the region on where do you want to extract the name/text from, in my case, the Title Sheet and Number.

From there, we would extract the pages and keep the Page Labels and then we had all files individually extracted.
    For example:

    A1.0 - Floor Plans
    A1.1 - Enlarged Queen Studio
    A5.0 - Typical Units

    The Region method,…
