   The new program upgrade of Adobe Acrobat is glitchy and difficult to work with. Request signatures is a nightmare for recipients. Asks people to sign agreement.

6. menu file bar

   With the new adobe format, on the top menu bar there is too much stuff. There is hardly any space to move the window. When the window is full screen its not as bad, but if the window is minimized at all, it is hard to move the window. I tried moving the window in all the other places but it either didn't work, or moved the tabs out which I don't want to do. It's cumbersome when needing to switch between chrome for example, and adobe and other open apps on the computer. Would be very helpful if there was more space on the top of the menu bar.    I am not able to remove a highlighted text in the new version.Please solve my issue.I tried multiple times using the standard procedure of

   "single-click on the area of highlighted text you wish to remove.
   A small toolbox will appear with two options, allowing you to change the color of your highlight or delete the highlight altogether.

9. new acrobat for mac very slow

   Acrobat 2023.006.20380: Since upgrading to the 'new' look acrobat, it is much, much slower, to the point is is basically frozen. Any document over 10 MB is unusable. I often deal with image-rich documents >50 MB and these are impossible to navigate and edit, whereas in the previous version this was totally normal/easy. Please fix this or revert to the previous version until the new version actually is practical for users.

10. [BUG] Searching Embedded Index via a script fails

    1. Since the last update to Acrobat DC, searching an Embedded Index file using a script fails: No results are ever found. The same search command, using the same Index file, can be performed manually, and once that is done the script works, but not if it is executed on its own.

    2. To reproduce:

    3. Create an Embedded Index (.pfx) file for a file.

    4. Run the following JS code (adjusting the file-path of the Index and the search term, of course):

    var cIdxPath = "/C/Test/MyIndex.pdx";
    search.query("search", "Index", cIdxPath);

    This results in 0 results, and the search doesn't seem to "kick in" at all.
    Now run the same command manually. The index will be searched and results will be found (if they exist). If you now run the same code as before, it will work.
    Restart the application and searching using the script fails again.

    1. OS and Acrobat versions: Windows 10. Acrobat Pro DC 2023.006.20360 (both 32 and 64 bits).

    2. Expected result: The search should begin at the first attempt, either manually or via the script.

    3. Observed result: The search only works if first triggered manually.

    I can provide sample files if contacted privately by Adobe staff.

13. Bug/problem: The Cancel button was removed from the 'Save changes' dialog.

    You have removed the ability to cancel after I try to close the document -- the 'Save Changes' dialog only has 'Save' or 'Discard'. It is SO CRITICAL to be able to cancel, in order to save the changes to another file -- I use redmarks on PDFS all the time and frequently close the file accidentally, only to realize that i need to save the redmarks to ANOTHER FILE NAME, not OVERWRITE the current one. Please bring back the 'cancel' button and also the use of the Escape key to cancel it.

    I didn't mind paying for a subscription to use all the Acrobat features while I was running my own business. Now I am retired from the profession and don't work in an office environment, I rarely need to edit or convert PDFs but there are occasions, probably a few times a year, that I need to use these features that are not available with the Acrobat Reader. Using the free trial and canceling it before being charged is one way to do it, but I could end up forgetting to cancel. I'd be happy to pay per usage fee, like a few dollars perhaps, if I don't have to sign up for a subscription every time I need to use it.
