  2. window will not open after clicking icon if app is already open

    (mac) Before some recent update (same one that lost the scroll bars... still missing btw...), if you closed the all acrobat windows/tabs, the app would still run, and to open the main window again you'd click on the icon.
    Now, clicking on the icon does nothing. You have to either go into the menu with the application active and choose something that is likely to bring up a window, or open a document, or quit the app and open it again. None of those options are very good.

  3. Find text does not work properly

    When doing a Ctrl-F for "2040" in the document found at https://s1.q4cdn.com/695946674/files/doc_downloads/esg/PG_CTAP.pdf , the find function finds lots of text that is not "2040."

  4. Administrative role to run usage/license report

    Users will have admin rights to run usage reports and don't need access to add/remove licenses.

    Essentially a read-only with the option to run reports.

  6. File saving is needlessly complicated.

    The introduction of what I'll dub the "save helper" is one of the dumbest ideas I've ever seen implemented in a well known software. In no circumstance does it do anything than take more time since you have to open a file dialog no matter what you click - all it does is introduce another impediment to workflow.

    The best thing to do is remove this "feature" and have it actually default to where you opened the file from! You know, like software has been doing for the last 30 years?

  7. USER INFOMATION BUG

    環境設定でユーザー情報の性、名を登録しても、次回ファイルOPENする際にユーザー情報が性、名の欄の文字が？に変換されてしまいます。
    毎回入力が手間です。改善お願いします

  8. Ligands in search

    Searches on words such as 'differentiation' fail in documents where the double f has been formatted as a ligand (the two ff's joined as one symbol). This has been known for thirty years and yet it still happens, it's ridiculous that such a simple feature of text should be able to disable such an important function and advantage of using PDFs to communicate information.
    And by the way the hoops you made me jump through to log in, even though I was using correct email and password were just ridiculous -- I simply won't waste my time trying to get…

  9. Turn system back to Windows 10 version

    Allow drag and drop of pdf files from a file to an email in Outlook. It worked previously until I went from Windows 10 and Office 365 to Windows 11 and Office 365.

  10. Search for contains the term being searched for

    I am looking for the ability to search for a term where the term is "contained" and Acrobat will highlight all of these occurrences.

    For example, I wanted to search for the term "scenario" and highlight all occurrences of it whether it is found as "scenario", "scenarios", or other variation. Unfortunately, I could not find any option that allowed for this. All I got was a teaser when typing the search term where it showed me that it could find the term as "scenario" (19 of them) or "scenarios" (just one) but would not for a combined result where it…

  11. Control/Command + S

    When I command/control+s to save a PDF from the reader on the Google Chrome extension, it does not save the PDF. So I have to manually click the download button and it takes a lot of my time, as I have to use Acrobat for work every day.

  14. Fix it!

    I've been using Acrobat for 25 years and the current version is absolute junk, totally unworkable.
    It can't even scroll a pdf.
    Wheel of death constantly.
    Highlighing and comments take forever.
    How can you release and charge for such junk?

    Up to date Acrobat Pro in 2023 Macbook pro.

    If you want to apply for ebaymastercard then first you have to visit the credit card page. Then press apply now. Then use your username if you are already registered on website, if not then register on site by press the option of create an account. Then register option. Then at last click on submit.

  16. Adobe Admin Console: Add an option to Resend User welcome email or Setup E-Signature email.

    Add ability for Adobe Admins to resend account setup emails to the user, or add something on the creative cloud login homepage that alerts users who have not setup their e-signature services.
    I've had several users who had issues with sending documents for e-signature and Adobe support tells me it is because the users hadn't setup their e-signature services by clicking on an Adobe welcome email. The welcome email never came though so there was no opportunity to set it up. This welcome email was not blocked however, it was just because the user's email wasnt synced to our spam…

  17. Enable Adobe Pro 2020 perpetual to automatically select PDF icon for imbedded PDF documents in Microsoft Word

    It would be helpful to have Adobe Pro 2020 default to the PDF icon when inserting a PDF as an object and then displaying as an icon in Microsoft Word.

    It is possible to search for the icon and set it manually but it will always default back to C:\Windows\System32\ole32.dll, making the user have to manually set the icon every time.

  18. constant system hangs on osx ventura

    I'm getting constant system hangs on OSX Ventura 13.5.2. It causes illustrator to freeze completely and several other system resources freeze. It seems to have something to do with the open/save dialog box as when I view the system resources acrobat, illustrator, and a system open/save dialog box process are all "not responding".

    1. Sign in to https://account.adobe.com/plans.
    2. Click Manage plan or View plan.

    3. In Billing history, select either:

      • to view a PDF of your invoice
      • to send a copy to your email address.

    4. To print the invoice, do one of the following:

      • Select the PDF viewer’s Print icon.
      • Choose File > Print in your browser.
