  1. Updates are killing work flow. It took me calling in to find out how to undo what the automatic updates changed. I get that change is a part of any program's life, but when your change interrupts the ability to smoothly work within the program, for no other reason than 'change is good', you are failing your customers. If you are going to continue to force change (bad changes at that) on your customers, get ready to loose them to 3rd party programs.

If change is required, add in a way that we can modify to keep what we need…

  2. The current Acrobat Pro User Interface/UI hides simple features from users and forces them to type a search request to locate them. E.g., I want to "crop" a PDF. Previously this option was a click or two away in some rationally-organized menu. Now I have to type "crop" into a search field and hope I move fast enough to capture the "TOOLS...crop" search suggestion before it disappears and the search bar unhelpfully tells me that "No matches can be found" in the PDF document (combining "Help" suggestions and document word searches in one search bar field is confusing).

  3. What was the perceived problem with the old interface? Did any user testing go into the redesign? I feel sorry for the designers and developers who had to implement this overhaul, and I feel disdain for the leadership that must have driven the change. Middle management should push back harder against initiatives like this.

  4. In new layout there is no place where I can check the name of opened file. On tabs there is place only for short file names. When file name is longer I have to hover over the tab to see its name in tooltip. There should be possibility to show whole file name in other way.

In old layout whole filename is presented at the title bar.

  5. The "new" interface in Acrobat is horrendous. Shame on every single person who helped implement this appalling design. Adobe needs to remove it entirely and actually listen to user feedback.

  6. Search function does not work.

When pressing ctrl+F, the search option appears but does not find anything. Even when I'm staring right at the word or text I typed in the search box. How can a basic function like this be broken and still get released? This is a complete waste of time and productivity for anyone that relies on this function to search large documents. Please fix this or give us the option to roll back to a version that actually works.

  7. I HATE IT!!! You took away the things I use MULTIPLE TIMES EVERY SINGLE DAY that I had in a quick access toolbar.
I do NOT need AI, I do NOT need a "summary", I need to convert documents to PDF and make them accessible. I'm back to 37 steps to even start now?????

EVERYTHING is moved. Why? Because you hate us and don't want people to use your product? If I learn the new locations, how long until you move everything again?

I cannot describe how much I hate this. I'll encourage my company to look for a PDF…

  9. The AI Assistant is not something I am interested in. The button for it appears even though the feature is disabled and it is very easy to hit it, as it is right next to buttons I use all the time. I would like to make it go away, but that, I'm told by Adobe tech support, is impossible.

Having a feature that is still in beta and that is of no use to me brought to my attention so often is annoying. (It's the one colorful button in a corner of the screen where the USEFUL buttons are all…

  12. Dear Acrobat,

Please listen to customers and stop alienating them. People become dependent on your product through work. Please restore the version you threw out. You are creating unnecessary pain. Why does your company resist real feedback?

  13. I'm so sick and tired of seeing that pop up notificaton to use the AI assistant on the top right corner of the screen. It makes me not want to use it. I'm not stupid, I know the feature is there and I will use it when ever I use it.

  14. Along with others I am horrified at the tragic mess the UX (yes, user experience) has become. The UI design is following the unfortunate trend of "unify everything" into a web/mobile topology that has been infecting applications for a while now.

I had a well-developed workflow in Acrobat Pro, that the new & obnoxious UI design, that you shoved down my CPU's throat, broke. More than that, the usability of the new atrocity is a step back.

A number of problems/defects are exhibited, but the three deal breakers are:
1- the floating toolbar (it's fine to have it as an…

  15. There is an issue with Adobe's printer dialog menu / print preview that, when you print to a copier that requires a copy code in order to print, the job doesn't come out because the Adobe dialog menu isn't sending the copy code.

This is a macOS issue only as far as I know.

This problem is going back to 2017 and has never been addressed. Please see this forum thread about it: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/pdf-print-jobs-aren-t-processed-with-user-codes-from-adobe-dc-or-acrobat-pro/td-p/9010649

If you're not going to fix the product so that copy codes are sent through your printer dialog menu / print preview, at least give IT…

  16. When "Enable scrolling" is off, as it is by default, mouse scroll can scroll 10 pages or more in an instant, if the vertical page size is a little larger than the screen. It is unusable for me, so I need to change the setting every time I open a document, since the setting does not persist.

Why not make it so the setting will persist, so I don't need to change it every time I open a document?

  17. I shake my head every time a software company changes its look or its lay-out just for the sake of change. If it's not broke, LEAVE IT ALONE!!!

This week has been taxing because a good majority of my work deals with Adobe Pro documents. My muscle memory is completely off because y'all decided to flip the layout to opposite sides of the screen. I have to squint every time I'm looking for the print button. It's just like when Samsung decided to change sides for the volume and power buttons. Why?

Where is my "Save As" icon?!? I shouldn't…

  18. When you click on the shaft of the scroll bar, it doesn't go down/up by a page, but by more than a page.
This only happens when "Enable scrolling" in disabled in the toolbar.

Steps to reproduce: Disable "Enable scrolling" in the page navigation toolbar. Click with the mouse left button on the scroll bar shaft region to scroll one page up or down.

Environment: Windows 10 Pro. Acrobat Reader Continuous Release | Version 2024.005.20320 | 64-bit

Expected behavior: Scrolling one page up or down.

Observed behavior: Scrolling more than one page up or down.

  19. This has to be the dumbest user interface "upgrade" I have ever seen in my LIFE!!!! Tasks that I used to breeze through are taking me forever. The **** stamps won't turn off after I use it one time and only need it one time. I used to be able to copy text boxes and paste them. Way to foul things up!!!

  20. Your new interface update is horrible. I understand the need for simplification the attempt to make things easier for the end user, but not every one has the same needs. I don't NEED a tool bar that I can't get rid of or at least customize for my needs. I need a program that will give me the option to select and de-select the functions I use on a daily basis. I don't care about e-sign, but I would like to have an icon to organize pages with out having to go through two or three menus.

    Yes you made…
