    Hi,

You can always check the recent files you opened, but as designed after system restart Acrobat will not open those files for you by itself.

    Thanks

  3. You need to allow users to hide the tools pane on the right side during load of documents. its annoying and we should have the ability to permanently hide it!!

  4. Allow users to customize the toolbar- add some (not all) drawing markup tools, comment tools, editing tools, highlight tools, without having to add an entire group. There are tools in a group that I never use, but I must select a group and wait for it to load, rather than seeing all my frequent tools at one time.

  5. Changes are not able to be saved when source or destination folder name of document is changed while editing. Changing folder names is common on Mac OSX and applications typically do not have issues tracking folder name changes while the application and document is open.

    1. To reproduce on OSX, open a PDF document and make edits. Change the name of the folder the PDF resides in. Attempt to save changes. Acrobat shows this error "The document could not be saved. The file may be read-only, or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different name…

The error is expected since you are changing the source folder name while the file-inside is in Write-mode.

You can try Save As to not lose any changes.

Just for information, on windows – you cannot change the source folder name while a file, is in write-mode.

  6. My professors take out certain parts of their powerpoints so students have to go to class to be able to fill in the PDF of the powerpoints. But, sometimes, I need to fill in equations but there is no way to add them like you can in Microsoft's equation editor.

  8. As a student, I love adobe acrobat. I use many PDFs for research projects, and need to draw lines easily and do some equations using my touchscreen. It would be great to have a pen in the quick access tool bar, instead of having the bulky comment tool bar on top. Maybe i'm missing the option, but I'd love to see this. A competitor to one note?

This report references InDesign Bug ID – ID-4204915 Bullets are voiced twice – posted by Bevi Chagnon on September 22, 2017, 6:53 AM.

    Problem Description:
When a different bullet is used in In Design other than the 3 default bullets (round, asterisk, and lozenge), the tag tree in the exported accessible PDF has two span tags, one empty and the other with the bullet character.

The double span tags cause screen readers to voice…

  10. Cannot uncheck "whole word" from Find box. It's there but grayed out. There is no way to uncheck by default. Have to open the cumbersom full search panel, but it still won't change the default.

  13. I'd love for Adobe to add support for combining and convert email attachments. We use Adobe Acrobat for bulk printing, and it would be wonderful if we could load email messages (.msg) files in the combine files to Adobe box, and then print them.

    Hi

This is already present in Acrobat – Combine menu.
    1. click on File>Create > Combine Files into Single PDF.
    2. Click on Add Files dropdown and select Add Email.

Alternatively, you can drag and drop emails on Acrobat’s combine window.

    Thanks
    Tanvi

  14. In my process of lien searches when I scan the completed documents, to prepare for the return e-mail to the customer, it is easier to scan all 20 - 40 items at the same time. Then I select each customer's document from the multiple scan and label the new pdf with the customer's name and search #. It would be expeditious to be able to have the "Current Page" selected without having to return the mouse to select it for each new pfd.

  16. I have been making monthly payment for Acrobat Pro DC since last April, but now it is telling me that my subscription have expired. My last payment was Sept 27th. I should not be getting this message, and I see no way to fix it.

User has not responded since long. Assuming resolved.

  18. The company I work for uses a lot of text boxes when marking up client PDF files obtained during our audits. The lack of ability to set a default font size, color, and style for every text box we add is very time consuming. I realize there is still a feature to set the default text box fill and outline, however I do not want 12-point RED font as my predetermined default every time I choose to add a text box. PLEASE bring this feature back!

    Thank you

  19. I have to fill out form repeatedly with different information each week for something for class. I edited it a bit the first time and then set it up to use as a "template" for myself in the future. However, I am trying to delete a portion in "Fill & Sign" where I circled things (I had to do a bunch of ratings on a scale of 1-5) and change them for the new week and it will not let me delete or adjust the old circles I made. I can't figure out how to do this or find any…
