The capture button has disappeared!
I used to print details of the pages, and to do so I used the "Capture" button. Now that button has disappeared and I can't edit the buttons bar to add it back.

Working Hard to Make Life Miserable for Users
What in the world were you thinking? Let's see... How hard can we make it to use our once-productivity-enhancing product? This is simply change for evil's sake. I'm going to stop using AAP altogether. What a disaster.

The new layout with for Adobe Pro is much harder to navigate
The new layout with for Adobe Pro with the tools on the left and the pages/bookmarks on the right is much harder to use. After so many years, why were they switched around? Please bring back the search field so that I can find tools. Everything I use is now hidden under layers of menus and really small icons.

Double popups when extracting pages
Open a multi-page document. Go to the "Organize pages" tool. Right click a page thumbnail in the righthand view. In the popup menu, click "Extract Pages". A dialog window pops up where you can select the page to extract, whether to delete the extracted page, and whether to extract each page as a separate document. After a moment, a second popup appears on the tool pane, with a duplication of the latter two options.
The Acrobat team really, really likes popups, eh?

Compare Search Area
We need an option to compare specific areas of two files.
It is often the case that we have certain information in the two files which are known to change and we don't care about. We need to filter these out.
We are only looking for changes in a certain area so the ability to change this search area would be extremely useful and with the added benefit that it would speed up the process too as not all of the files need to be compared.

I cannot use the new mode. Need the traditional mode.
I cannot use the new mode. I cannot find the updater. I had to reinstall Adobe Reader. The new mode is intolerably difficult to use and needs a rocket scientist to find anything.

No floating bars in Read Mode, please!!!
Whenever I move a mouse while in Read Mode, a floating navigation bar gets displayed near the bottom of the page obstructing the text. There is no way to get rid of it. Yes, clicking the last icon in that bar makes it disappear, but it also causes leaving the Read Mode and displaying huge useless side bars.

The new look is a nightmare
The toolbar on the right is a horror show! I need full screen width. I want the old version or at least the option to set it up however I feel comfortable. Not forcing this nightmare.

STOP WITH ALL THE UNECESSARY CHANGES!!
STOP...
For hecks sake... what bright spark decided to change to everything on the user screen in Acrobat . Talk about pulling up a workflow with this sort of change! Do you realise what this does to entire organisations. I should be billing you for lost productivity due to this rubbish.
There are things everywhere. Left Right, a fixed panel on the left I can't seem to get rid of and all this right in the middle of a major multi million dollar event planning and roll out.
At least when you bought software outright you knew when you sat…

New minimum window height hinders work flow
I need the Adobe Reader window to be fully adjustable to fit around my various open programs. The latest update forces a minimum height, and the toolbars are not moveable.

Side panels on new version really don't work well
The switch of the panels n the new version are very difficult to use and counter to the direction in which one reads. It is much more intuitive and natural to read (and click) tabbed sections of a document on the left then continue reading to the document. This was a silly and unproductive change. We should at least be able to change the sides of the panels.

bAcroSuppressUpsell policy breaks 'All tools' menu in Modern Viewer
If you configure the bAcroSuppressUpsell policy (https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/PrefRef/Windows/FeatureLockDown.html#idkeyname_1_11881) to 1, all access to tools disappear in the 'All tools' menu when using the Modern viewer , although some of them must not be affected by the policy and are visible when switching to the classic viewer

Recent Files... not correctly populated
On a Mac operating system, Adobe Acrobat does not record a file in the "Recently Opened" list if the file is opened directly from Google Drive for Desktop (which mimics a hard disk on your computer). There is a workaround that involves linking Adobe Acrobat to Google Drive directly (on the Acrobat home screen -> add file storage) and opening Google files from within Adobe Acrobat. These files do get recorded in the "Recently Opened" list. However, the workaround is inconvenient for the user since you usually open files from the Mac Finder.

maintenance causes all work to be lost
I had been working on multiple PDF files that I had opened via email and via my computer's file explorer and then as I was attempting to open another file via the home tab in the top left, the application said something about maintenance being complete and then forcing me to restart my Adobe session without being able to view or save the documents I had open at the time. Then when I did close Acrobat, and attempted to open the files I had open, it froze and I had to restart my computer 2 times before it worked properly…

Toolbar in the way
Please dock the toolbar to the side at all times. I do like the new toolbar, but it blocks text on the PDFs, meaning I have to take the time to pan and zoom and adjust just to read what it is blocking, it's just unnecessary. Just have it docked always. Also, I will say I'm not the biggest fan of how the thumbnails are shown, but that's a different and much less important issue. The new "floating" toolbar (that you cannot move) obstructs the documents and should just be docked to the side so you can see an unobstructed…

Impractical editing, returning to the previous version of Adobe Acrobat,
Hi, is there a way to return to the previous version of Adobe Acrobat Pro? The latest version is very difficult to work with in edition/comment mode (adding text, arrows, shapes) to the point of making my work extremely impractical.

From the banner, Clicking X closes more than one open pdf in a single click
When I have more than 2 PDF's open and I close the one closest to the left, it closes two at the same time. Video attached.
