  1. Please make it possible for the Attachments Panel to be displayed by default via the settings.

This way, it would be immediately visible whether the PDF contains attachments, such as XML files for e-invoices.

  2. Access to our most used actions in a toolbar is excellent, but the floating toolbar is so annoying because it is on top of the content of the opened document. It would be better if we could customise where the toolbar should be and have the ability to dock it without it so it is not on top of the content.
Older versions of Adobe Acrobat Pro allowed it to be on the top horizontally, which used to work perfectly for me. Please let users decide how best to interact with Adobe Acrobat Pro.

  3. Ability to hide 'Recommended tools for you' at the top of Acrobat home page above Recent. The purple-red-white gradient is visually ugly, and I would prefer a clean white page with just Recent files, which is useful. Professional users don't need 'Recommended tools for you', we can find them when we need to.

  4. Every time I open a new PDF Acrobat opens quickly and shows the first page of the pdf but then the whole app seems to freeze ... I can't move or minimize the window, I can't scroll through the document .. nothing. After about a minute the app will begin to work as expected with no further issues.

    This is incredibly annoying.

  5. In the latest update pushed this week, 2024.005.20421, the Light Theme "Old" style Acrobat (Pro and Reader) version was updated to 2024.005.20421 recently. The "Light Gray" Display Theme File Menu bar highlights color changed and is hard to read the text since it doesn't change the text to White like the main window bar. When the mouse hovers over the File Menu options, the dark Blue color overpowers the text color which stays a dark gray. See attached. Before, it wasn't a blue highlight but a gray with black text.
No changes to the Windows 11 system settings for Color…

  6. When running Windows 11 23H2, and the Taskbar is set to "Never combine buttons", and Acrobat Pro is configured to use Tabs, it initially exhibits the correct behavior of having only one icon/button in the Taskbar. However, when switching Desktop Spaces to another desktop, and then back to the desktop where I'm running Acrobat, suddenly Acrobat has created multiple buttons on the Taskbar for every tab I have open in Acrobat. This is clearly a bug, and additionally none of the new buttons that it created do anything -- I click on them, but it does not take me to…

  7. Legitimately everyone who has ever posted on this forum about this feature hates it. GET RID OF IT ALREADY! Nobody wants or needs the bookmarks tab to open by default. It is the most irritating thing on the planet!

  8. SO SLOW! It would be one thing if i was putting in a couple boxes. I have done everything recommended and the speed is worse than old dial up internet!
PDF reader Pro is so much faster but doesn't have the same customizing options.
This cant be the best Adobe could do? If so I want my money back

  9. Remove the "+ Create" button in the top right of tabs. It takes up valuable real estate in the tabs and prevents the application from being moved around the desktop / different monitors. Absolutely useless and should be able to disable the button and reclaim that space and make it easier to move the application around.

  10. I hate the newest version of the PDF Reader since it has been updated because the visibility of valid information on the screen is reduced. I often need to open PDF and excel comparison data at the same time, but the effective area of the PDF reading interface is reduced (the white space on both sides is increased, and the toolbar cannot be locked on the top!)

  11. Every time upon opening a PDF which has landscape pages, the menu (rotate/delete pages menu) which appears for each page thumbnail on the "Pages" sidebar is always cut off for those landscape pages (see attached image). Every time, I have to manually zoom out on the thumbnails in order to bring that menu into view such that it is not cut off, or I have to click "Reduce Page Thumbnails" on the ellipses menu. The page thumbnails should always be zoomed out enough such that this menu is not cut off, or the thumbnails should be in "reduced" size by…

  12. Every time upon opening a document which has landscape pages, the menu that appears for each page thumbail in the "Pages" tab is always cut off for the landscape pages (see attached image). I always, each time, have to either manually zoom on the page thumbnail or click "Reduce Page Thumbnails" on the ellipses menu of the Pages tab. By default, these thumbnails should be zoomed such that this menu is never cut off, or the thumbnails should be in reduced size all the time (or it should be a saveable preference).

  14. Moving the Navigation panel to the right side makes it extremely difficult to use. Since (in English at least) we naturally read form left to right, moving navigation to the right means that once I think I have found the section I need I have to shift my gaze all the way to the other side of the screen to start reading it and confirm. This is a small difference in isolation, but the extra eye fatigue adds up quickly. It is just very counterintuitive to try and put the organizational structure of the document on the right side. This…

  15. As Acrobat keeps building an inscrutable interface to make all useful features disappear, it is now impossible to email direct from Acrobat.

There used to be an email icon that could be clicked to connect to the default email application so that a PDF could be sent without going through all of the steps of closing Acrobat, opening the mail app, writing a mail, browsing for the file.

With its continuously degraded interface, Acrobat becomes less user friendly and more obscure. Thanks guys. Maybe instead of AI you shoud talk to human beings about the UX and features. Or maybe…

  16. I cannot find the "Help > About" operation to find out the version of my Adobe PDF Reader.
Problem: If you click the any scaling button ("enlarge" [+] or "reduce" [-]), it brings up the scaling bar. The scaling bar blocks the bottom part of the scroll bar. This is annoying, because I cannot reach the "down" button at the bottom end of the scroll bar. I suggest using the tool bar area to show the scaling bar, instead of making it block the bottom part of the scroll bar. Thank you.

  17. Any time I am foolish enough to move my mouse near the bottom of an Adobe document, a little bar that says "ask AI assistant" comes up. Often, it takes some time to make it go away again.
If I wanted to find an AI assistant, I wouldn't be looking by putting my mouse near the bottom of the page. If you must have such a doodad, put it in the menu structure with everything else so that it isn't in my way.
Also, help information about how to get rid of "features" like this is difficult to use because…

  18. Ive always noticed extreme lag time with editing, opening documents, even hilighting or signing; but lately w the Version 25.001.20438 - as soon I edit the document with upwards of 5 changes (including the aforementioned actions), Adobe Acrobat will just shut down completely. When I try to reopen, it offers to restore lost work - however when I select 'yes', Adobe will instantly shut down again. I've did this for 15 minutes once after closing all my other windows and restarting the computer.

  20. I’ve been exploring ways to make PDFs more engaging—especially when designing worksheets, digital planners, or creative handouts. Acrobat does a great job with layout and editing, but adding custom visuals can really elevate the look.

Recently, I came across https://myemojikitchen.com It’s a free online tool that lets you combine two emojis to generate a unique, high-quality emoji mashup. The images are downloadable and work great as stickers, icons, or fun section breaks in PDFs.
