More useless changes
Adobe is clearly run by children. No adult would ever approve the pointless changes that Adobe consistently forces on us. Now instead of toolbars that help us we have annoying floating toolbars that can not be docked. WTF? Sure just randomly switch where the table of contents and tools are, no one uses them anyway because that are terrible tools. I wish i never learned any Adobe programs so i would not be fooled into trying to learn these useless new configurations. I want my money back and all the money i wasted learning a program with no evolution or…

New Update is Reducing Productivity
New update is making it difficult to use Adobe for simple PDF things as previously used. We may have to unfortunately cancel our subscription if we are not allowed to revert to the previous version and use another PDF viewing and editing software.

Enable user to hide the "Tools" menu in preferences
It takes up so much room and I want to see my document not a menu I'm not going to use.

Toolbar Issue
Allow all users to choose how they use toolbars, so they can set it up to however they work. This means allowing them to turn it on or off. If on, allow users to dock it to whatever part of the screen they want it on, top, bottom, left or right. And finally, allow them to expand the toolbar to be able to read the names OR have just the icons themselves. The new version isn't that bad, the users just need to know where the tools are, so they can use them. So my final suggestion is to have…

toolbar
The new toolbar is too big, when I make it the smaller version it's blocking some of the type on the pages. The old space where this was is literally empty on the right side next to the scroll.
Change it back PLEASE16 votes -
Tools bar shows up no matter what I do!
The annoying Tools Bar shows up no matter what I do. I have gone in and checked unchecked, checked again. But every single document opens with the useless Tools Bar!
Also, when Acrobat upgraded why did all my settings vanish?? I have to set it up the way I like it all over again!11 votes -
The latest version is horrible
The latest version of Acrobat is horrible. Why did you have to completely flip the entire interface so it is backward. The tools are not readily accessible as they were before. This is a terrible idea. Please offer an option to change the interface back to the tool we know and can use quickly and efficiently. I'm trying to get work done!

Hate the new look
The latest update to Adobe is terrible. Please revert back to support the old version
Everything takes way longer and functions are now hidden within other functions
also why did you swap the side that the tools are on? it makes no sense.

Acrobat Reader Freezes when signing in
Reader freezes on Windows10 when I try to use Google Sign-in. As a result, you lost all unsaved changes on the document after restart.
Very shameful for such an uptodate software.2 votes -
Returning Plugins to the Top Bar in New UI
In Adobe Acrobat Pro original UI Plugins are placed at the top making it easy to access. In the new UI released a couple of weeks ago, Plugins are buried in the settings menu making them very cumbersome to use. Please move the Plugins back to the top bar.

"Update" causes significant issues Adobe Acrobat DC (Professional) - BUG FIX NEEDED
I need help about some significant problems that arose after a recent Adobe "Upgrade" - which is really a "Downgrade" in Acrobat DC Professional.
I've searched other posts on the Community for this issue on Windows and did not find any (there were some similar Mac problems).
It seems crazy to me that Adobe managed to mess up simple things like scroll bars in a recent "upgrade".
There are no scroll bars on my version of Adobe Acrobat and I've tried some of the other threads on the community. Adobe will also no longer remember the last view settings.
I…

Latest updates to Adobe Acrobat Reader - PATHETIC!!!!!
Why take away the option of a permanent menu bar at the TOP of the screen. (Folks would REALLY like it if they had the choice of enabling / disabling a permanent MENU bar over a drop down list...)
Yes, the drop down list is good for some, but many of us DESPISE it!!!! We want the permanent menu bar.
The newest UI is not the greatest and a good number of us want tool bar option on the far RIGHT anyway...
And also, it seems the newest UI iteration DOES NOT honor the users' desire of opening Adobe WITHOUT…10 votes -

The display theme keeps switching back to light gray
It used to work perfectly, but recently the display theme keeps switching back to light gray whenever I open Acrobat. It is highly annoying to have to switch the view settings every single time I use the app.

Full screen split on Mac causes Adobe to disappear/fail
I have recently been using the split full-screen feature on my MacBook Air 2020 (Ventura 13.4.1), where I am writing my dissertation on one half of the screen and looking at my advisor's comments on a previous draft on the other (see screenshot). I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Occasionally (often after the computer falls asleep due to inactivity), Acrobat just disappears, and clicking on the icon in the doc results in no action. If I try to "show all windows" for Acrobat, nothing appears either.
Being able to split screen like this is super useful, and I wanted to…

Change for the sake of change
Swapping the bookmarks pane and the tools pane is a stupid idea with no benefit for your users. Please go back to the old interface. If I have to use a new one I might as well just view documents in the browser and stop using Acrobat.

Why the Changes to Page Layouts
Why do companies feel the need to constantly "improve" on the lay-out and appearance of an applicaiton that works great? I've noticed that many companies are changing the lay-out, appearance or style of their products. Adobe Reader recently underwent a change. Much of the same products are there, just moved to different locations on the page, making for 1) another learning curve 2) frustration as to why things changed. Don't "fix" what wasn't broken.
