  1. Due to the excessive security when attempting to sign to any app or service involving PDF files I no longer use Adobe as my trusted application or service because of the friction and steps it takes to use PDF files - even signing on to this feedback service I had to use a Google login - this has driven me away from all Adobe product and I am a yearly subscriber -

  2. It would be great to have the Layers feature in Acrobat. That way a person could always have signatures visible and not hidden behind a form field!

  3. When using the Find Text Tool, it doesn't recognize symbols anymore (e.g. : ; #), and for entertainers, actors, editors, etc, reading a script on PDF, this is a huge issue because that symbol is the only differentiating factor in looking through 100s of pages of dialogue (e.g. "Bill was running to the scene" vs "Bill: Hi, everyone!"). Now people have to spend hours going through a script instead of minutes.

  4. I installed a couple of fonts from Adobe Fonts site. Namely Blue Goblet and Typeka. I installed on my computer using Adobe Cloud. However, for some reason I can select Blue Goblet as a font for a text form field (under "Appearance") with no errors, and it shows perfectly on any computer and on other pdf readers as well (Chrome, Edge etc) but when I select Typeka font it gives this error:

"The selected font cannot be embedded in the PDF file because of licensing restrictions. If the PDF file is viewed on a system that does not have this…

  5. Since the 6/6/23 update, has anyone else noticed that the new "Alternate Description for Links" field does not work? Text can be entered into the field but screen reader does not read. Tested with JAWS 2023, 2022, and NVDA (2023.1.0.27913).

  6. Please change the update back to allow Save As to be functional upon PDF pop up instead of having to access the file in Windows File Explorer to save and rename. What a disjointed process.

  7. Since the update of Adobe Acrobat Pro / Reader on Aug. 8, the software crashes upon applying a digital signature on a specific form of mine. After JavaScript is done executing, the prompt for digital signature does not appear, and the software crashes. If under a specific case, I manage to reach the prompt for digital signature, and I would cancel, the software crashes. The signature can be applied only when the user follows specific steps, but it has to be done every time the signature must be applied. After uninstalling the latest version and reinstalling the previous version of…

  8. For Multi-line fields, text input should not scale till width of field is reached and wraps to next line. Currently when creating a field set to text that Auto sizes, it scales to width of line and then starts getting smaler, then add multi-line to that and it should wrap to next line and only start scaling when the field is full and you can't fit any more text it visibly. However currently when multi-line, Rich text format and Auto size are all set, when end user starts typing in info, the text is really small - but if you…

  9. When filling out a PDF form in Hebrew it crashes.

The good news is that I found a fix: If I change the first field in the form to right to left (it is left to right by default) It does not crash anymore.

  10. Add "EIN" as a formatting option in Adobe Pro using > Edit pdf > More Tools > Prepare Form > (highlight field) Properties > Format - drop-down choices include Social Security Number, Zip Code, etc.
I had a field formatted using what shows as "Arbitrary Mask" but the formatting created an error which started recently. I did correct things but lost my tab order.

  11. In the old version of Adobe Acrobat, when you were in the process of preparing/editing a form, you could "Preview" the form. It was very useful because you could go back and forth between changing the modifiable fields and seeing the document as someone else would see it. This feature is no longer available. Now, you have to exit the form section to preview and then go back into the form section to edit again, which is such a headache.

  12. When asking field properties on Mac French version :
The text in the bottom of the windows appears in a wrong position.
You need to do a screen copy, then, with Aperture or other, you need to do a vertical switch to see correctly the text.

  13. Is there a way for pdfs that have both portrait and landscape in the pdfs, in prepare a form fields to write in landscape instead of portrait. So for a portrait it writes correctly every time but in landscape it writes in portrait.

  14. Save a copy was always an option for our form files so that we could edit/add extra type. Now when I try to do that, I still get the error message telling me to go to "file" and "save a copy," however "file" is now "menu" and there is no "save a copy." Glad I still have a typewriter in my office! Please fix this ASAP - your last update was a downgrade. :(

  17. For our internal forms we like to have both the manager and staff member sign the document. However, not all staff have an email address and having to email the form for signature each time is too time consuming. It would be nice to be able to add a signature box, that doesn't require digital signatures or email addresses, and the user can just sign with a stylus, then pass to the staff member to counter sign - just like with pen and paper.

  18. Amorphous core transformers have a number of advantages over traditional transformers, including:

Lower losses: Amorphous core transformers have lower eddy current losses and hysteresis losses than traditional transformers. This means that they are more efficient and can save energy.
Smaller size: Amorphous core transformers can be made smaller than traditional transformers because they do not need as many laminations. This makes them more compact and easier to install.
Lighter weight: Amorphous core transformers are lighter than traditional transformers because they do not need as much material. This makes them easier to transport and handle.
More reliable: Amorphous core transformers are…

  20. When creating a form and using the Execute Menu Item->Submit a Form in order to email the completed form to someone when they click on a link, the following message appears, even though PDF is selected in the Submit Form Selections:

"The attached file contains data that was entered into a form. It is not the form itself. The recipient of this data file should save it locally with a unique name. Adobe Acrobat Professional 7 or later can process this data by importing it back into the blank form or creating a spreadsheet from several data files. See Help…
