  2. Deactivating automatic opening of downloaded files doesnt work

    Win 11
    I want to deactivate "open downloaded pdf automatically".
    The old adobe reader version (I always updated to newest version automatically!! So your updater doesnt work, found this trick online to reinstall..) did not have the option. Deinstalled, downloaded again.
    Now the option exists, but doesnt work. everytime I download a pdf, it opens automatically. wtf? Fix that! Online I tried so many workarounds. nothing helps

  3. new font selection feature sucks

    Hi,

    I use Acrobat for wok daily, and use the font selection on a regular basis to format for legibility. I know exactly the fonts I am looking to select. The feature was working just fine before.

    Then you decided to add a sentence about a brown fox jumping next to each font selection. As a result, you managed to slow down both the app and my workflow. Please revert the change!!!   4. Crashes & Freeze’s you must fix no matter what

    I’m very tired of searching for all my PDF receipts and proformas across multiple WhatsApp chats. I spent 30 minutes on this, which is extremely frustrating.

    During use, your software suddenly stops responding without any clear reason. After restarting the application, all previously opened tabs are lost.

    Please fix this issue and add functionality that restores the same tabs after a crash or restart, similar to how browsers like Chrome or Edge work. Currently, after every crash, I have to search for all my PDFs and open them again from scratch.

  5. "Highlight Current Bookmark" doesn't work

    The "Highlight Current Bookmark" option doesn't work. It is very useful when it works, so it should be fixed.
    Issue:
    I have the "Highlight Current Bookmark" option enabled, and working bookmarks in my document. If scroll to a certain part of the document, or jump to it by navigating search results, no bookmark is highlighted. If I then enable "Expand Current Bookmark", the corresponding bookmark is expanded, and the highlighted boomark becomes visible.   7. Make Acrobat DC and Acrobat Classic to remember the "All Tools" pane state in "Reduced" mode

    We have observed that Acrobat Classic and Acrobat DC do not retain the state of the “All Tools” pane when operating in Reduced Mode. Each time a PDF document is opened, the “All Tools” pane automatically appears, even after being manually closed previously. The application does not remember the previous state.
    This behavior occurs exclusively in Reduced Mode, which is critical for our environment because we use a mix of licensed and unlicensed configurations that require this mode. Users have reported that the persistent “All Tools” pane is disruptive and negatively impacts the reading experience.

  10. Palette for "Set or change properties for selected Text"

    There is a bug in Adobe editor. When I am using "add comments' option, this colour palette on the side doesn't disappear after finishing the task.

  11. 3 or 4 different tabs to close everytime i open a new document

    Maybe theres an option that i'm missing. But everytime i open a document to have a quick read, there 3 to 4 different tabs i need to close to make the document big enough to be able to read on my laptop screen.
    Two different AI suggestions is ridiculous, please stop, i know where to access the headers, please stop. Or tell me know to make it stop.

  12. How have you managed to make what should be such a simple program so bloated, slow and annoying.

    Why does it always default to THREE almost never used menus opening every single time I open the app? Literally every single time I want to just look at a PDF I have to close three distracting and/or pointless menus of features we never use but you're presumably trying to ram down our throats?

  15. Add Global Option to Disable Bookmarks Navigation Pane in Adobe Reader

    Please add a global setting in Adobe Reader that prevents the Bookmarks Navigation Pane from automatically opening when a PDF is opened.
    Currently, this behavior depends on individual document properties, which means users must manually close the pane every time or rely on inconsistent workarounds. This is disruptive for those who rarely use bookmarks.
    A simple preference option (e.g., “Always hide Bookmarks pane on open”) would greatly improve usability and workflow efficiency.

  17. Messages From/To Adobe STOP Showing When Unchecked

    When a user unchecks the "Show me messages when I launch Adobe Acrobat,"
    STOP showing your POPUP MESSAGES!!!

    In a work environment, having these pop-ups appear EVERY TIME I launch Acrobat is beyond annoying. Especially, when I keep unchecking the box only to find it re-checked the next time I open Preferences.

    BEYOND ANNOYING!

    What will it take to make this STOP, and adhere to the CHOICE the user makes?

  18. Ctrl + Click in organize pages makes a copy

    When using ctrl to select multiple pages under organize pages it often makes a copy of the pages I have selected when I move the mouse to select the next item. apparently this is a feature but its way way to sensitive. i shouldn't have to be so careful.. i'm trying to work quickly here you know?

  20. How do I get the toolbar to default to last settings?

    Allow adobe acrobat to default to last settings. I use pan and rectangle fill for highlighting when reviewing drawings but the toolbar always defaults back to Select instead of pan, and Draw instead of rectangle. There used to be an option to "Make handtool the default tool". That is now gone. Why doesn't Adobe just default to your last settings across the board?
