  2. add the option to customize the size, shape, and color of the cursor. similar to autocad.

this will allow easier navigation of the document especially when doing presentations or when doing takeoffs and measurements.

  3. [Bug] Shades and Patterns not rendered in OS correctly

See the attached PDF, I am able to see the shades in Page 3 & 4, and Pattern on Page 2 in Acrobat reader and in Chrome via Acrobat plugin.

Whereas, I am unable to view the same in Acrobat DC beta version since a year. I have tried un-installing that acrobat multiple times from ProgramFiles and PFx86 but of no use.

If someone from Acrobat team knows how to fix such issues... can contact me on jabber 33929.

Most probably I need to remove some residual files from other locations…

  5. In previous versions, when combining files in Adobe Acrobat, it was easy to tell immediately whether the portfolio option was ticked.

Now, it is hidden under the 'Options' gear icon. Acrobat remembers the last setting so it is impossible to say what it might be at any given time without clicking the gear icon to check.

This slows down workflow and is needless when there is plenty of room on the toolbar to show this information and is a step backwards from previous versions where this option was immediately visible.

    Please re-instate the old behaviour.

  7. Is it jut me? I have just started to use pdf pro and straight away I see how very poor it is. I need to make manuals, which includes to insert multiple pdf files with lots of pages in each, into the structure of the original pdf file. It would be nice to group pages to simplify making pages order and document structure. What a delusion!

  9. Hello Adobe Engineering Team,

In prior versions of Adobe, when I opened a document and right-clicked on it to rotate it to the proper orientation, the Save option appeared to allow me to quickly save the changed orientation.

Latest version of Adobe requires me to click on Organize pages feature, select the pages, click the rotate buttons to orient the pages correctly, then Save option appears.

There are a lot more steps needed in latest version of Adobe to quickly change a PDF document's orientation than in prior versions.

It would be nice to allow users to save a PDF…

  11. The real case - the customer brought me 100 pdf files named "File 1", "File 1 Back", "File 2", "File 2 Back" and so on which I combined in new single pdf file in order to print "File 1" as one, "File 1 back" as other side of page and so on.
In Page Thumbnails sidebar there is no way to see any information but page number and small content. As the content was meaningless for me to set right order of pages then the only possible way to do that was by file names. Yes there is an option…

  12. I have 94 pages I need to rotate to portrait mode. From Organize Pages I select all pages from the dropdown menu. It selects all pages however it turns the pages in multiple direction. Some portrait, some landscape. It doesn't work as intended.

  14. In older versions of Acrobat, when you right click a page in page pane, it would have move which allowed you to type a number and page will move to take that position. This is important when you have more than 20 pages on a full screen. To move page 78 to page 4, just right click page 78, select move and type page number 4, Page 78 moves to page number 4. Dragging over left side up or down at times become sticky and have to do it in two or three parts.

    Bilal Ansari responded

You are using Rotate View option which rotates the view of the document.
You need to use Rotate Pages option present in Organize Pages app or Page Thumbnail pane.

  16. In earlier versions of acrobat, right click on a page will bring up a dialog for inserting a number where one wants to move a page. For example, if I am on pag 78, and want this page to be at page [before/after] say 10, then I right click page 78, and select move and insert page number 10 in dialog box. This is very helpful when you have all pages that cannot be displayed on a screen. Drag and drop works well for a screenful of pages, and is very difficult scrolling vertically or horizontally through several pages. I…

  17. Older versions had dedicated buttons on the quick tool bar for rotate clockwise and rotate counterclockwise. The current release only has a single button for rotation that opens a separate box, requiring more clicks. The only way to have dedicated buttons that I've found is to open the page thumbnails pane.

  18. Often we get a 2-page signature, i.e. 2, 5.5 x 8.5 pages on one 8.5x11 or 2, 8.5 x 11 on 11x17. Many times these signatures are not in the correct order for printing and we have to "cut" them apart and re-order the pages.
If the Split Pages had an option like divide document pages in to smaller pages this would improve the workflow in print shops
