  1. In older versions of Acrobat, when you right click a page in page pane, it would have move which allowed you to type a number and page will move to take that position. This is important when you have more than 20 pages on a full screen. To move page 78 to page 4, just right click page 78, select move and type page number 4, Page 78 moves to page number 4. Dragging over left side up or down at times become sticky and have to do it in two or three parts.

You are using Rotate View option which rotates the view of the document.
You need to use Rotate Pages option present in Organize Pages app or Page Thumbnail pane.

  3. In earlier versions of acrobat, right click on a page will bring up a dialog for inserting a number where one wants to move a page. For example, if I am on pag 78, and want this page to be at page [before/after] say 10, then I right click page 78, and select move and insert page number 10 in dialog box. This is very helpful when you have all pages that cannot be displayed on a screen. Drag and drop works well for a screenful of pages, and is very difficult scrolling vertically or horizontally through several pages. I…

  4. Older versions had dedicated buttons on the quick tool bar for rotate clockwise and rotate counterclockwise. The current release only has a single button for rotation that opens a separate box, requiring more clicks. The only way to have dedicated buttons that I've found is to open the page thumbnails pane.

  5. Often we get a 2-page signature, i.e. 2, 5.5 x 8.5 pages on one 8.5x11 or 2, 8.5 x 11 on 11x17. Many times these signatures are not in the correct order for printing and we have to "cut" them apart and re-order the pages.
If the Split Pages had an option like divide document pages in to smaller pages this would improve the workflow in print shops

    Thanks for reporting the issue.
As the issue is not reproducible in-house, please provide below information:
1.Request you to share the Acrobat version you are using.
2.Elaborate step you follow which causes Acrobat to crash.

    Thanks,

  9. Can we make it possible to be able to view bookmarks and page thumbnails simultaneously? My department is now using Adobe to aid switching to electronic filing. This would be a huge time saver!

  13. I frequently use a program where I open multiple PDFs, combine them and only save the final result. I am now only able to combine them after I have saved each PDF individually. This was not an issue previously.

Did you try the existing Rotate functionality? Right click on the page thumbnail and select Rotate Pages. From the dropdown, select 180 degrees and Press OK.
Let us know if that works.

  15. After I go to Edit document, crop pages and select the area I'd like to crop, the "set page boxes" dialogue box is too large. It goes from the top of the screen to the bottom. This hides the "OK" and "Cancel" buttons under my taskbar. I have to use the directional keys to highlight the appropriate command and hit enter to select it.

  17. Acrobat DC 2018.009.20050 / Windows
    Application Language : Japanese

    1. extract PDF
    2. save this PDF
    3. don't save and displayed "The file name is not valid."(「ファイル名は有効ではありません。」)

This problem is because the reserved character ":" of WIndows is included.
There was no problem with the previous version, and language "English".

  18. I'd like the option to crop multiple pages in one go instead of individually. e.g. Document with non-print marks. Instead of creating separate PDF with InDesign or other desktop publisher, I'd like to crop all the pages in one go.

Did you mean flip or rotate?

    To rotate:
Go to Organize Pages. Select the required pages. Click on one of the rotate icons on the above toolbar.
    OR
Right click on the Left bar. Select Page Thumbnails. Now Right click on any page thumbnail and select Rotate Pages.

    To flip:
Go to Edit PDF. Right click on the image that you want to flip and select Flip Horizontal or Flip Vertical.
Note: You would need to uncheck the Recognize text checkbox (present in the right hand pane) when you open Edit PDF for the first time.

Let us know if that helps.
