1. "Find and Replace All" Functionality for Adobe Acrobat

   Dear Adobe Acrobat Development Team,

   I am writing to request a new feature for Adobe Acrobat that I believe would greatly enhance the usability and efficiency of the software for many users. Specifically, I would like to suggest the addition of a "Find and Replace All" functionality that allows users to search for a specific text string within a PDF document and replace all exact occurrences of that string with another specified text.

   Currently, while Adobe Acrobat provides powerful tools for editing and searching text, there is no streamlined way to automatically replace all instances of a particular text string across an entire document. This feature is common in word processing software, and its absence in PDF editing can be a significant inconvenience for users who need to make consistent changes across lengthy documents.

   The "Find and Replace All" feature should include the following capabilities:

   Case-Sensitive and Case-Insensitive Options: Allow users to choose whether the search should be case-sensitive.
   Whole Word Matching: Enable the option to match only whole words, preventing partial replacements within other words.
   Review Changes Before Replacing: Provide an option to review each occurrence before replacing, similar to the functionality in text editors.
   Undo Functionality: Ensure that the replacement action can be easily undone in case of mistakes.
   

   This feature would save time, reduce the potential for errors, and make Adobe Acrobat an even more powerful tool for document editing. I believe that this addition would be highly appreciated by the global user base, particularly those who frequently work with large documents or need to ensure consistency in legal, academic, or professional documents.

2. tabs closing

   There seems to be a bug where a tab will close that the user has not told Adobe to close. This occurs when a user has one tab open (tab 1), then 2 further tabs are opened, so a total of 3 are now open. By default, the third of these tabs will be the one displayed as this was the last file opened, which is fine. However, if you then click the 'x' on tab 1, without first viewing the other newly opened tab (tab 2), both tab 1 and tab 2 will close.
   Please let me know if you need any further details. If struggling to replicate, I could provide a screen recording. This doesn't appear to be a 'one off' error, this happens 100% of the time since the new Adobe has launched.

3. Extracting a page with known layers loses layers after extraction. This was not the case in earlier versions of Acrobat!

5. liquid mode for desktop

   Make liquid mode for desktops so I can resize the window for taking notes or sharing and easier to highlight and copy text to a notes file without all the line breaks

6. Adobe Acrobat Glitching

   Adobe Acrobat keeps freezing - every time the app is opened the PDF glitches and the screen doesnt allow you to click on anything and you have to force shut it down.

7. Organize pages

   The old way was better in that you could just hit the carrot on the left side of the screen to organize pages while never leaving your full-screen document. Now it takes you to a separate screen. It is difficult to see how this is an improvement.

9. Bug Report: Organize pages / split

   When I go to split pages / split by top level bookmarks and then select output options I select Use Bookmark names for file names and go ahead and select then the folder I would like this issued as.
   The first error, I select OK, and immediately exits me out of the split screen.
   The second error, I go back have to select ALL the same output options I originally selected/entered and despite what I enter it ALWAYS outputs add label and number after original name and into the folder where the file originally was selected at start.

   NOW HERE IS THE WEIRD PART...

   I delete all of that, go back to split enter everything again and it works.

   Please someone help this issue. I recently installed the update thinking that would correct the issue and it has not.

10. Organize Pages > Split is broken when top-level bookmarks are used to split and for names

    This only occurs if the "New Acrobat" is enabled. The "Split" action does not work when you ask it to split on top-level bookmarks and use the bookmarks names as the output names. When you click on the settings to select these options and save them, sometimes it takes you back to the main screen and the "Split" pop-out is gone. If you go back in, the settings are gone. Other times you can click "Split" but it just names the output files with sequential numbers instead of using the bookmarks.
    
    Disabling "New Acrobat" brings back the old functionality and it works OK.
    Also, it would be nice if it could remember this setting instead of making me set it up every time, including the output folder.

11. Please restore the page number icon

    Unfortunately the updated Acrobat PDF appears not fit for purpose. many of the features on the older version have either been removed or hidden, which means an irritating search to find them.

12. Page Drag and Drop Between PDFs is Not Working in Acrobat v23.003.20215

    Just installed an update to Acrobat yesterday and noticed this morning that I'm not able to drag and drop pages between 2 PDFs. I have turned off protected mode at startup as well as enhanced security and still nothing. This was the single feature I used the most out of the entire Acrobat software. I don't know if I'm missing some new setting or not. If not, please fix this bug or bring it back if it was intentionally removed. It was already painful in that you had to go into each open PDF and go to organize pages in order to drag and drop. Now it's gone completely and I'll happily suggest to my IT team to seek other alternatives to Acrobat if this isn't resolved.

13. Long File and folder path file opening

    When a file and path name exceeds about 255 characters, which we have recently breached with backup systems, our archive PDFs do not open in Adobe. However, if we open them in other programs, they will open fine, but we need to be able to edit them, which leaves us having to copy the files out of their long path into a shorter path, make the changes, and copy the file back. If other programs have the ability to open long file paths, then it should be able to do so in a 64 bit digital age.

14. Organize Pages gets stuck in center of page

    While using the Organize pages feature, the icon "Organize Pages" will get stuck in the middle of my screen. I will then have to have task manager kick out Acrobat and restart the application. See attachment:

15. Display proper roman numeral page numbers

    Is there no way to properly display the page number labels in the "Go to a specific page number" box (the circled area of the attached screenshot)? For example, I'm on page ix, which is properly labelled ix (as shown in the Pages panel), but the box shows "9" rather than "ix". (I do realize this is because it's the ninth literal page in the file.) Then if I actually go to page 9, that gets displayed as "21". Although, note that I'd have to scroll away from page ix in order to type "9" in that box and actually get to page 9(/21). If I'm still on page ix and I type "9" into the box and hit enter, I just remain on page ix. Seems like quite the silly flaw. In previous versions, the roman numeral page numbers displayed correctly and this wasn't an issue.

16. EXTRACT PAGES to have an option to open the extracted files.

    Rather than extracting a page (and using the ridiculously restrictive file folder dialog box), saving the file, then having to search for it in order to work with it, it would be GREAT to have an option (in addition to the existing "Delete Pages after extracting" and "Extract Pages as separate files") to "OPEN EXTRACTED FILE" !

17. File dialog in Extract allows only folders to be selected - not shortcuts, not Quick Access

    Please add a regular file dialog box, not restricted to folders. I use shortcuts to get to frequently used folders and they do not show up in the dialog box. Also, Quick Access files are not included in the folder dialog box, so I cannot get to our network, have to save, then move and rename.

19. acrobat dc crashes

    first thing, why is it so hard to give adobe feedback?
    now for the bug, if i click on the page number section and before i type what page i want i switch languages from arabic to english using windows and space buttons, then i enter page number, acrobat reader crashes.

20. Page transitions are no longer working in acrobat. Please can you advise

    There seems to be a bug in Acrobat Pro DC. Since I switched to a MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020), the page transitions in Acrobat do not work. I only have an ugly cut from one page to the next. Please advise.
