  2. with multiple pdfs, each over 50 pages long, to drag and scroll to move the pages to their correct location is a huge hassle. Can you find a way where the pages can be organized by selecting a page or range of pages and reassigning the page/range location? please and thank you

  3. For large documents (e.g. 50 or 100 pages+), moving a page by drag and drop is a) laborious and b) inefficient. Instead, it be better to be prompted where to move it and, as a bonus, ask for "Before" or "After" for exactness. Other PDF products (e.g. Kofax Power PDF Advanced) offers these options.

  4. There seems to be a bug where a tab will close that the user has not told Adobe to close. This occurs when a user has one tab open (tab 1), then 2 further tabs are opened, so a total of 3 are now open. By default, the third of these tabs will be the one displayed as this was the last file opened, which is fine. However, if you then click the 'x' on tab 1, without first viewing the other newly opened tab (tab 2), both tab 1 and tab 2 will close.
    Please let me know if…

  5. The latest version of Acrobat Reader is frustrating to the point where I no longer want to use it.

I'm particularly frustrated that when opening a PDF file, Acrobat decides to automatically open all of the files that I had open last time I used it, meaning I have to wait to use the file that I actually wanted to use and select it from the list of opened files. Why can't I just open the file I want to use and have it ready to go?

Another thing is that while I'm using other apps, Acrobat randomly decides to…

  7. Prior editions of Adobe Acrobat DC Reader had a forward/back and other navigation tools able to be pinned to the toolbar. With the most recent version 2024.002.20687, these tools do not exist as buttons that can be pinned to a task bar for quick and easy use. This version relies on old-fashioned keyboard commands (i.e. ALT+Left Arrow or ALT+Right Arrow) that was common in MS Dos days or menu driven commands with embedded menues (Select the Menue-->View-->Page Navigation menue options) common with the rollout of Windows 1.0 thru 3.11 for Workgroups and even often found in Windows 95, 96, and…

  9. Sometimes doesn' work - no apparent reason. Can't re-order the pages. Fix - Close the file, close the program and restart normally fixes the issue, but not always, sometimes have to do it again. Example video of not working posted.

  10. Occasionally, after inserting pages into a document, you cannot select any pages in the Organize pages tool. Neither using the mouse, or keyboard such as Ctrl+A. The page is highlighted as you move your mouse, but you cannot select pages to rearrange them. The only way I have found to resolve this is to close and reopen Acrobat.

  11. MacOS Sonoma 14.3.1 - Adobe Acrobat DC 24.001.20631

  12. I was having a problem renumbering pages so i started all over combining my files (that do not have page numbers or they don't matter in this operation). The very next step i tried to remove them and i get a message that there are no headers or footers to remove. my numbers are plain a day in red in a footer. i'm not using the Bates system, I'm simply numbering pages in a pdf created by combining files. I cannot remove them, i cannot add files and renumber as i've been able to do in previous version. I'm using…

  13. I can not find a tool for changing the line weight when reading on the new version. Some blueprints we receive have thick line weights on the text and are hard to read even when zoomed in. On the previous version the line weight could be changed making the text more readable.

  15. Acrobat crash when I open a normalized PDF (caused by the page thumbnails panel automatically opened for normalized PDF, possible for you to fix this issue? This problem wastes an awful lot of our time.

In the same style: Opening a Pitstop report when another PDF a normalized PDF is already opened, result almost time to a crash.

Guides from rulers are not visible when you add them; you can't see them when you move them, and the same applies to Pitstop's Design and Layout guides.

When you modify a mask or a shape, when the "Output Preview" window is…

  16. How about a menu that allows view sizing, like "Fit width", "Fit height", or 100%". The magnifying glasses are klutzy.

  19. In any of the old versions, there was an option of "full page" view in which buttons "page up" / "page down" would go to the entire previous / next page, and not scroll to a part of it. This options is now split to two ("enable scrolling" + "fit heith") , while all buttons (pup/pdn/arrows) work the same way. It's much better, in terms of productivity, to have the arrows to scroll within a page, and the pup/pdn buttons to move to the previous/next page.
