Automatic AI in Adobe PDF is causing issues
AI automatically scanning my PDF is incredibly annoying. I don't want it reading my document, I don't need a summary, and I don't need automatic fields for a form. What I need is a way to completely disable AI.
It's causing delays in my work and slows me down, along with being a waste of environmental resources.4 votes -
Export AI Assistant conversations as Markdown with citations
I am using Acrobat AI Assistant on long PDFs, and the hardest part isnt asking the first question, its keeping track of why an answer changed. Please add an export for the current AI conversation as plain Markdown, including the source page references and the prompt order.Right now I copy each answer by hand, then a long document or a context reset makes the notes pretty hard to audit. detect and redact sensitive information based on local ai
I need to remove a lot of sensitive informations before I can hand off a pdf to an AI tool or agent. Things like names, emails, adress or contact informations, prices, dates, urls, health data and so on. I would love to have a local AI-tool in Acrobat Desktop/Mobile to investigate one or more PDF files, telling me what kind of sensitive information was found and then giving me options to redact these data. Get the "Pdf space" nonsense out of my workflow
As part of my work, I very frequently have to combine multiple pdfs into a single document. This used to be a straightforward, one-click action. Now I have to navigate a dropdown menu every single time to confirm that I want my combined pdfs to become a combined pdf. I do not want to "create an AI workspace and gain insights" and never will. This useless, tacked-on feature is making the basic functionality of your program worse.

AI is ruining Adobe
I get so many AI prompts that I am ready to cancel my entire companies subscription and switch to Foxit. Even when I select "no", they are incessant - all day, every day. They are ruining a product I used to really enjoy.
Maybe use AI to figure out how to add the option for AI into your program, but once a user declines it, it STOPS ASKING.4 votes -
Get rid of the stupid "Summarise your PDF Quickly" that pops up EVERYTIME I start Adobe
This is idiotic and invasive. It pops up even if I open a one page form that clearly cannot be summarised and there would be zero point in summarising it. If your dumba5s AI cannot tell when it is not needed, why the **** would l use it?
Pop ups that cannot be turned off are completely unacceptable. If I had any other choice, I would be quitting Adobe.

Better Customer Service
I just got off the phone with a customer service representative that was more than willing to cancel my services rather than give me a discount that I asked for since I've been getting billed annually back in 2018. It certainly does not pay to be a long time subscriber so I'll be using one of the many free services that are available online now. Allow Permanent Disabiling Generative AI - without having to disable multiple times!
Make disabling Generative AI work, or lose another customer.
I bought PDF Exchange... all because Adobe wants to force AI on us. I still use, but if I have to leave, it will be permanent.
I did the registry key fix, nothing.
I disable Generative AI in settings, and if I close and reopen Acrobat, they are all automatically re-enabled. This is beyond upsetting. What other settings have you overridden, maybe my security settings?
That all said, you are adding another :15-20 seconds to every PDF I open (dozens a day). What gives Adobe???

AI tools are distracting, useless and harmful
Please allow us to completely disable new AI features. Every time I go to combine files into a PDF I now have to click off of the 'PDF space option'. None of the tools are relevant to the work I do, and it is a waste of time to have to close out of pop ups like 'AI assistant' and 'Summarize my document' etc. No one asked for these tools and they're just a reminder that you are pandering to an infrastructure that is further desecrating the earth. Disable AI Assistant
I am absolutely SICK of AI being forced on every application I use. I need to be able to disable it. It is useless, slow, actively impacts the speed of the program, useless suggestions, and interrupts my work with predictive text that is NEVER helpful. This program should be OPT IN only not forced on everyone. I actively avoid using Adobe because of it but when I have to its disruptive, unhelpful and worthless. Just Make it OPTIONAL!!!!

AI keeps freezing my Adobe
I use this for work so if i cant open adobe because your AI is causing it to freeze i'll just install some freeware that does the job faster without your board saying AI is the way and it needs to be installed now no matter the ramifications

The AI pop ups don't disappear when removed from preferences.
Every single time I open a pdf there are pop ups. Even if I am logged in. I have to change the preferences for each document I open, even if it's a document I've opened up regularly and changed the preferences for several times. Please fix this. It's really annoying.

add document title (file name) as header when merging
I have multiple files say File(A), File(B), File(C). I want to merge them into one document called File Cover Document that will have a summary and TOC. I would like a merge option that puts the Document Title (File Name) at the top of each document or each document after the first one. Your AI could even do the summary and TOC cover document if you wanted but I think having it in the combine options would be simpler. Think attaching several exhibits to a master document with the name at the top of each exhibit.
