  2. in the new versions of Adobe, the browse for folder function - to open or save a file - is useless. Contrast it to every other conventional windows application, looking more like Windows Explorer where you can easily navigate to a folder, subfolder, file - but in Adobe, it immediately requires scrolling down, then selecting, scrolling down more, selecting a subfolder, etc.

  3. Hi, I found a hang in current release Adobe Acrobat DC (2017.012.20095) when working with Microsoft Outlook on the Mac OS X. I've reproduced on two different Mac models with different versions of the OS. (10.12.6 and 10.12.4) and different versions of Outlook (15.37 and 15.28). This started happening very recently so the problem has to be in a recent update and I think it is because we upgraded Acrobat to the latest on the effected machines.

  5. Downloaded Adobe Acrobat Pro v. 17 purchased via order 142075619 on a MacPro desktop running OS 10.9.5 (Maverick). I used the serial number posted. Near the end of the installation process it says that it cannot be completed because of an error. But it does not explain what error it is. Checked disk for permission problems, tried again, same error. I am at a loss because the installer does not identify the error.
    Please advice how to proceed.

  13. I just installed CS6 Design & Web Premium but Acrobat Pro fails to install - period. I've tried 4 times now with the same failure (see attached screenshot). The website says I have 90 days of "Chat and Phone support" - but the support website is in an infinite loop - you never get a button to "chat" and no phone number is ever offered. How do I get help getting this installed?

  15. I am using Adobe Acrobat on a Surface Pro 2. The scaling is horrible, with dialog boxes too big for the screen and options inaccessible. I gather the height of the Surface Screen is not within your specification. Please can you enhance the dialog boxex so they display fully on the screen. I also use Captivate and this is fine. Dialog boxes display properly.

  16. I have created a PDF file from an Excel Workbook. Each tab in the workbook has a range name that is in the "rows to repeat at top". I have a table of contents that hyperlinks to each of these range names in each worksheet. When the PDF is created, sometimes a worksheet will become 2 pages. The hyperlink shows at the top of both pages (because it is in the "rows to repeat at top"). When I click on the hyperlink in my table of contents, it always goes to the range name in the second page rather than…

  17. Acrobat Pro DC 2017, Mac running Sierra 10.12.6. Starting with three single-page PDFs created out of Illustrator. Create>Combine files into single PDF, Add open files creates a single page file of the second file added, ignoring the additional two files. If I do not have the files open and use Create>Combine files and navigate to the files in the Finder, nothing happens at all. No error messages, no crash. As always, these commands work fine in Acrobat Pro XI.

  19. I created a date field, called VersionDate, as a Custom Document Property in Word. The field is displayed in the document footer. When I converted the document to PDF, the date changes from July 25, 2017 to July 24, 2017. I tried converting from Word plugin, Acrobat DC, and the Adobe PDF Services website, and each one sets the date back one day, but the Microsoft plugin also changes the format (from July 25, 2017 to 7/24/2017 (especially annoying since Australia does not use the U.S. date format).

    Hi Gabreille,

    If you open your Word document and go to Print Preview mode (Word→Print, select any printer and check the preview), you can see that the date changes to one day back. Adobe Acrobat has not come into picture till this point. It is the custom date field that is behaving incorrectly in Word.
