How, in any way possible, is this resolved? The issue is changing the default Edit Text font in Acrobat XI Pro. Not in Acrobat DC. The answers posted by the Admins are for Acrobat DC, not for XI.

I have ACROBAT XI PRO (11.0.20.17) and none of these suggestions work. I want a way to change the default font for the Add Text tool located in the Content Editing panel.

If you double-click the tool, a floating toolbar opens; you can change the font in that and it will stay on that font until you change it again--same is true for the color. I do it all the time in Pro.

And if you're listening Adobe: I liked it much better when I could dock that little toolbar permanently to my application toolbar as we used to be able to do a few versions back.

We need a way to change the default font for the Add Text tool located in the Content Editing panel. I don't like the Minion Pro. It looks weird in most of the documents that I use.

I use "add text" button frequently, and while there is an option always present to change font attributes, I would like to set a different default font than "Minion Pro," which is now the default.

You are right Ron, this option was introduced in the next version - Acrobat DC.

That screen doesn't exist in my Adobe XI. There is only 1 line: "Enable Artificial Bold/Italic Font Styles."

We don't like the Minion default font, and the difficulty of using Adobe. Our company is considering moving to Bluebeam.
