crashes when scaning multiple pages

I have 4 machines that are each connected to a Fujitsu FI-7160 and have Acrobat DC for Windows installed. ALL 4 HAVE THE SAME ISSUE, so I suspect it is a software issue. When scanning multiple pages, it crashes. The machines are 3 macs running parallels 13 and windows 10, while the 4th is an HP i7 pc with Windows 10. All suffer this insufferable issue. Tax season requires these things to work now. Would appreciate any help one could offer.

@David
We currently do not support the Acrobat 10 version.
So I suggest you to please use trial version of latest Acrobat DC-
https://acrobat.adobe.com/in/en/free-trial-download.htmlAlso, you have an option while installing Acrobat DC that it won't impact your Acrobat 11.
Thanks

Acrobat Pro DC Core Version 17.3072
Windows 10 x64
Create>PDF from Scanner>Custom Scan>Scan
Canoscan 9000F
Scanning multiple pages worked fine until early July when Windows released most recent update
Can't scan more than one sheet when Program stops. Will work when using the TWAIN setup but it is too cumbersome. -
