I shouldn't have to pay Adobe Acrobat premium AND Adobe scan too

That's absolutely right, DC has made a horrendous track of clicks to scan a single document, let alone a few independent ones with different settings and storage, which is 80% of the use I give to Acrobat. I will definitely not continue to pay a subscription for too long if no changes happen, just the time to find a more efficient tool

This is an absolute need to increase productivity.

As many people these days, I am being worried of being on line too much (I often pull the plug on router-there are other ways such as: Am open to ideas) and YET I understood that the usage of both acrobat DC and Windows 10 Office [certainly office 365-I think) require us to be on line all the time to use them. But for Acrobat DC this is not the case except when you are on line anyway [e.g. capture a web page as a pdf). Thus it would seem windows 10 (again I am thinking mainly of Office 365) is the primary Villain here (& of course “the Cloud”) BUT ONE CAN BUY OFFICE 2016 outright-- I am working with Office 2010. For email like Thunderbird One can download and work offline. So in general if we want to do the work & pay we can be relatively safe. Yes, I know there are other reasons for going online such as antivirus updating& running and shopping,etc. But, in general, the average person at home CAN be-- well relatively safe? DO YOU AGREE WITH ABOVE ANALYSIS? Also, on this subject some have suggested working from an external drive; but this can not work because in this case the external drive is part of PC & is on line also-Correct? Comments of any kind are welcome but I want to know primarily if ABOVE analysis is correct?
