Bug..Mac High Sierra - transparency option no longer available in properties for cells/appearance
I have been preparing forms and creating text boxes, check boxes etc for some time now.
Recently, I am unsure if was a recent update or because I have updated to highSierra on my mac, there is no longer a 'transparent' option available.

commentedHere's a hack that worked for me not 10 minutes ago in Acrobat Pro DC: :: Open a document that has the Rectangle and/or Circle/Oval properties you want (example: 1 pt red border, no fill).
:: Right-click on the Rectangle, etc., whose properties you want to emulate, and select "Make Current Properties Default."For me those properties carried over to all new Rectangles and Circles/Ovals that I created in both that document as well as other documents. Hope that helps.

commentedI agree completely with this bug report. I have always found the 'no fill' option for a rectangle properties to be very useful. I use it to put a coloured box around a table in an academic article. I can't understand the logic in removing this option. Please add this 'no fill' option back into the rectangle properties pop up

commentedThe 'transparency' check box is gone when creating forms. This feature used to work, but is no longer available. This from what I hear seems to be an Mac issue...

commentedHigh Sierra has evidently broken the NONE option (or Transparent) in check boxes and perhaps other elements in Acrobat DC. Please fix this.

commentedWhen I try to change the border color under the prepare tool I am not prompted with a transparency check box in the color select window that pops up as I previously was. Ive checked other PDF's that I've created and I am coming across the same issues.

commentedI am also a VERY experienced form creator and adapter using Acrobat, and this inability to set check box borders to transparent is a major flaw since upgrading to High Sierra

David Wolfe commented Many months since Mac OS High Sierra was available in public beta, and well over a month since release, there still exists a bug that prevents the setting of stroke and fill for form objects. For the millions of Acrobat users that regularly create forms in Acrobat, this is a very serious bug that should have been fixed long ago.
