Remove Document Preparation Dialogue
Why would I need a dialogue box to tell me it's preparing and ready?? JUST DO IT! I don't need 15 dialogue boxes for each document open telling me about it. It's a background task; it should be in the background. This is so painfully obvious I can't understand why this dialogue box exists or why it doesn't disappear when ready instead of forcing itself on top and in the way.

It is NOT resolved! I installed the suite a week ago and Acrobat is telling me "Please wait while the document is being prepared". This is very aggressive approach to user and it should be off by default or done entirely in background at very low priority

Also the instructions below did not resolve the issue on MAC as of March of 2020 on the latest version of Adobe Pro DC:
1. Open Edit→ Preferences→ Reading
2. Under “Screen Reader Options” select “Only read the currently visible pages”. -

I think the basic goal is to make their customers angry. Perhaps anger about a product leads to more sales?
I work in a bluebeam centric company but insist on using acrobat DC. This kind of annoyance makes me want to reconsider my position. -

This just started recently appearing - ALL THE TIME. Everytime I make a change, everytime I switch tools, open a new document. Totally useless.

This is seriously annoying. At the very least, there should be a way to turn this display off in preferences. It wasn't there with earlier versions.

There is a dialog that pops up on many PDFs that says "preparing the document for reading..." - it displays a progress bar and only has a "Cancel" button. Why is this operation shown to the user? Why does this dialog need to be presented, and interrupt my viewing of the document, at all? This operation should happen silently. Only if an error occurs when the user wants to use the "readable content" or whatever the output is of the file, should an error message be shown.
