PLEASE Don't make the user go through a menu to check off a comment! You DOUBLE the time it takes to go through comments.
PLEASE ELIMINATE the need to go through a dropdown menu just to check off a commnet.
IT WAS FINE to have a checkbox. It took HALF THE TIME.
PLEAES FIX

The comments run together. The checkmarking doesn't work and you have to right-click to use it. I can't save the document without causing a "Enfocus PitStop Pro > Critical parser failure: Extended graphic state resource missing" error.
Revert to the old DC, PLEASE.

Hi,
In the latest update of Acrobat DC, we have modernize the commenting experience and at the same time, made it very clean and intuitive to use. As part of that, the checkbox is moved to the right click menu of the comment. Please also note that both the sort and filter options are available for the check mark
We are sorry for the inconvenience caused and will consider adding the check mark by default for future updates of Acrobat DC

My acrobat just updated. Why have you added an extra click for me to check off comment!? Put it back to how it was! Not hidden as a menu item

BRING BACK THE CHECKBOX!!! Folks who have to make loads of edits use this as a means of keeping track of what was done. Having to use a right-click menu to do this STINKS!

I routinely get documents with 200 comments of edits I have to make, and this just made the work twice as painful! bring back the box.

@Kelly Vaughn. The tool you mention costs $75.Adobe screws up their interface and users have to go BUY a 3rd party tool to work around it?

While we're at it can we also bring back the separate view styles (fit to width, fit a page, etc) instead of burying them in a sub menu well? Hiding useful navigation is not good UI/UX.

Seconded. Removing checkboxes as default seriously impedes workflow when editing large documents.

Simply really, reinstate checkboxes by default. You've added an extra step for every comment that needs to be checked off. This can be massive for documents with hundreds of comments to read, edit, and check as done.

I agree, this is incredibly irritating. The previous check box gave an *immediate* way to mark comments. Now it's been buried in a menu. Yet another bad decision by the weird Acrobat UI team, whose job (it seems) is to make everything as difficult as possible.

the tick box checker has now been removed from comments. This was a huge part of what we do. But now having to click on the 3 dots to tick the box is really annoying. I am not entirely sure why this was changed as it was 100% perfect where it was.

this is a huge blow to our productivity where we rely on those check boxes to filter through changes as we update source files. we sometimes have hundreds of comments to go through in a single doc. changing the check box so 1) it's not visible at a glance, and 2) is another click/step removed is adding needless time to an already monotonous task. don't consider changing this back, just change it back and stop ruining what should be the benchmark of pdf software/productivity. i've been on the phone with support for a few hours trying to revert to the previous version.

I know this doesn't fix the issue of the Acrobat UI, but there is a third party product that makes it easier to check things off. http://try67.blogspot.com/2018/01/acrobatreader-comments-checkmark-tools.html
It offers:
-Checking (or unchecking) all the comments in the file with a single click
-Checking (or unchecking) all the currently selected comments with a single click
-Checking (or unchecking) all the comments on the current page with a single click
-Checking (or unchecking) all the comments in the file who were already checked (or unchecked) by anyone else
-Checking (or unchecking) all the comments in the file who were created by a specific reviewer
-Checking (or unchecking) all the comments in the file who were created by a specific author (notice that in Acrobat these terms are used incorrectly; The author of a comment is not necessarily a reviewer, and vice versa)
-Show detailed Review History (including Marked/Unmarked state, reviewer name and latest modification date) for the selected comments/all the comments in the file/all the comments on the current page
