PLEASE Don't make the user go through a menu to check off a comment! You DOUBLE the time it takes to go through comments.
PLEASE ELIMINATE the need to go through a dropdown menu just to check off a commnet.
IT WAS FINE to have a checkbox. It took HALF THE TIME.

Bring back checkboxes, hiding the checkbox has made my workflow more complicated!

Checkboxes by default needs to be reinstated! This is one of the most useful features I use on a daily basis.

I work in a busy design studio and this has added extra time to my job. I'm all for things changing for the better but this is a serious oversight that is frustrating to experience and all of my colleagues feel the same but are too busy working to make up lost time to give feedback. Please understand this feedback is likely representational of the vast majority of people who work with this function on a daily basis.

So ridiculous. TERRIBLE UX DECISION!
At least give us the option to have it there by default. I'm livid lack of forethought into this decision. We can't even make a keyboard shortcut to do it.

What a horrible change! You have to right click to get the check box now? I go through hundreds of comments to incorporate feedback and the checkbox is the only way I know if I've already completed the edit. How do you not realize this is an integral part of Acrobat for so many people? I will find different software that is easier and designed well.

Taking away the checkbox slows down my workflow considerably, and increases the chance of missing a correction in a document. I do not think this 'improvement' was researched very well.
Please bring it back! -

This seems like a clear misunderstanding of how this software is being used by a lot of subscribers. Taking away the check box is a huge and cumbersome disappointment.

agree - the new version is slower and definitely not cleaner and more intuitive. Please bring back the check box as soon as possible.

@Ammar
I don't think it is really appreciated how frustrated users are with this "intuitive" update, and rather than explaining the situation (that was already explained earlier in this forum post https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2541730) perhaps LISTEN to what the users are saying and reintroduce the checkboxes. The fact that the update was unannounced and unwanted is the equivalent of stepping into your car and finding out that the left indicator light no longer works unless you twiddle with the radio station beforehand. Not only is it NOT intuitive, you wouldn't know you had to do this unless someone told you.
I will be taking up this issue when I am at MAX next week.

The shortcut is Shift K. So you can’t have your cursor in the comment pop up.
Here is an article I wrote to make it easier. There is a link to a third party tool that will help. https://documentgeek.blogspot.com/2018/01/an-easier-way-to-mark-comments-as.html

Where did the checkmark box go when making edits in the comment feature? It is an important feature and one I use daily.

Would love to have access to the commenting checkmark feature without having to right-click. We receive proofed documents with hundreds of comments, and as a team, we all rely on filtering by checked/unchecked. Adding an extra step to this process is more time consuming. Can you please add the checkmark box back? Alternately, can you add an option for a keyboard shortcut for checking off the checkmarks? Thanks a million!
