Your circular icons in the comment panel are painful to look at. The "Text-replace" icon is illegible
You need to clean-up / simplify your comment circle icons, the previous version had non-distracting icons, in the newest version all I can pay attention to is how poor the "text-replace" icon is, scales poorly.

Separate Move tool for Comments
In Acrobat DC I'm fnding it very difficult to move comments (e.g. a text box) once it has been placed. The Move cursor disappears and simply doesn't come back. I place comments on recruitment forms, both signed and new ones, and I need to move comments around simply and easily on the form. I don't have time to struggle with it, or to wait hoping a move cursor might appear.

Acrobat text-edit comment functionality improvements needed
Three problems with the new update on Acrobat, all relating to text-edit comments. 1) Underline, strikethrough, replace, and insert are now represented only by arcane symbols in the comment pane. Before, there used to be the actual words "underline", "strikethrough", "replace", or "insert." Such text labels are gone, and they don't even appear with a mouse-over. This is awful. I work a lot with clients who are less familiar with Acrobat comment functionality, and this only makes it less clear for them. Bring back the text labels for the comment pane entries. 2) You know not everyone uses Acrobat in…

why can i not just highlight something? Why am I prompted to fill out a comment as well?
The older versions I could just highlight something, now I am forced to highlight and then enter a comment or manually close the comment box. Also, why can I not pin the comment features (box, arrows, text) to the task bar like you use to be able to?
Thank you,

replace text in commenting copies the text int my comment
Please make the pop-up open without text. If I want them to replace the text, why would that text come into the comment pop-up? Please, change all the highlighted and replace text pop-ups so they have not copy in them.

Can't select a text annotation - Acrobat Pro 2017
In Acrobat X a text annotation (created with the Typewriter tool) could easily be selected by merely clicking on it. In Acrobat Pro 2017 there seems to be no way to select it. This is a real show stopper for me since I often need to delete or copy/paste a group of selected line, text, and other annotations.

Modifying Sticky Note Orientation / Size
When adding a sticky note to a document, it faces the wrong way. I wish there was a way to rotate it so the talk bubble faces in the direction of the text, as well as resizing it, or at least, allow it to scale with the text. If I resize the document, the icon doesn't appear to stay locked. I've use the arrow on the bottom but would prefer the talk bubble.
Is there a way to adjust the orientation of these icons?
Thanks

LaTeX support in the comments
It would be so cool to have LaTeX support in the comments. So that people can jot mathematical notes for themselves while reading.

Sometimes DC won't save comments
Twice in the last two weeks, DC refused to save the same file with comments. I clicked on save, and the save box came up empty. I tried all alternatives, including saving to cloud, and nothing worked. So I lost the results of two work sessions. I'm using latest version of DC on Toshiba laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium. I've tried rebooting before running DC, but it didn't help. What's the solution?

Export highlights and comments
Export highlights and comments - after highlighting and commenting on a .pdf file I should be able easily export those highlights and comments as a kind of highlight reel.

Change background screen from gray to color in Comments panel
When selecting edits in the Comments panel with the new 2019 Acrobat Pro DC, the background of an active comment is in a light gray screen. My previous versions of Acrobat Pro displayed selected comments in a light color, which made them easier to read and locate when working on a document that has hundreds/thousands of comments. This should be added as a global preference option in the Comments panel.
1 voteIn the latest update of Acrobat DC, we have modernize the commenting experience and at the same time, made it very clean and intuitive to use.
As part of this update, we have changed the background color of the active comment as dark grey color to differentiate from other comments.
On hovering other comments, the background color of the comment changes to light grey to bring the comment in focus. However we will consider your suggestion for future updates.

Comments and highlights should look color coded
Comments and highlights should look color coded regardless of how they are sorted out... all in the same color looks elegant and everything but it was MUCH easier to read comments in past versions of Acrobat when they were shown with their color

Maintain file size with comments
Saving simple comments (text box, etc.) to pdf files increases the file size 1+ MB. Chat Support checked into this for a couple hours and could only verify this was happening. Please fix this bug ASAP.

comment pane color indication sync'd with color of comment in the pages (lines, circles, highlights, etc.)
In previous versions of Acrobat, in the Comments pane, there was an visual indicator of the color of the comments (comment bubble, lines, circles, highlights, etc.). But in Acrobat DC all the comments look the same. The color changes based on the AUTHOR NAME, which I suppose might be useful for some people, but not for me. The color of the comments in the comments pane needs to reflect the color of the actual comment, as it did in previous versions.
