text editing - baseline, word spacing
Per features available through at least Acrobat 8 -
1) ability to adjust baseline of text, or portion of text
2) ability to adjust letter spacing and word spacing - have PDFs where the source must have been justified, and current controls don't have good way to correct this.
2) set fill and stroke for text
3)find/replace single character or character codes - for example, find a 'fi' ligature and replace it with the letters 'fi'.2 votes -
Adobe DC Pro on Android platform
Hi. It
s very strange that Adobe is not developing an Android platform for Adobe DC pro to make it possible for us, your customers, to edit, change and create PDF
s on our android tabletts, not just on usual PC and Mac desktop as it is now. It´s 2019. actually and more and more people are travelling with their Pads or Tabletts without their PCs or Mac´s . The future is in Android and OS and not in Windows and Mac´s that are on the way to go to history. Can you give us a hope at least,

Add underlining.
Yes, you have a tool to underline, but not for undoing underlining. I have spent hours attempting to undo underlining, along with undoing bold. As secretary of a Property Owners Association, I NEED these.

Text recognition should not be automatic
When I click, "edit PDF" adobie automatically tries to recognize all the text on the document.
It fails and shreds the text into what looks like hieroglyphs.
Why is this the default?
I just want to add a picture, why is it forcing me to recognize all the text in my document?

activate forward-button for the link settings to be saved
Please activate forward-button (without any additional key) instead of help button to be continued with the return-key – so you can easy save the settings of the new link.
At the moment the return-key opens the help file.1 vote -

Create Link Keyboard Shortcut
I would like to use a keyboard shortcut to insert a link to a webpage (Word uses CTRL+K). Right now, I can't even get easy access to that action through the Quick Tool bar because only the "Auto-Create Web Linksfrom URLs" and "Remove Web Links" are an option.

Acrobat Pro DC rotation double-click bug
When in the "Organize Pages" view, you can hover your cursor over a single page and a toolbar appears beside the page, giving you the option to Rotate Left, Rotate Right, Delete, or Insert. However, this toolbar does not intercept mouse clicks from passing through to the thumbnail of the page. So say your page needs to rotate 180 degrees, and you quickly click one of the rotate icons twice. If the thumbnail view of the page is behind the icon (for instance, an 8.5x11 page in landscape), then the thumbnail interprets the double-click as a command to open that…

An option to create exanding/ collasping paragraphs
A built in function to create a header and a paragraph below that can collapsed or expanded when the header is clicked, while pushing down the content below it. I know that word documents and excel have similar functions.

Acrobat Pro DC/ Mojave Compatibility
After working with Kalpana for over an hour it was found the Acrobat Pro DC issue was coming from OS Mojave. I am unable to use the link tool in the manner it is described. In the past when adding links you could draw your rectangle box as large or as mall as you needed, now in Mojave it goes in and out and it staggers or goes away when trying to make a smaller box. I use this option daily and the issue just started when i installed Mojave.

Unusable - Spinning Beachball
2019.008.20080 / MacOS 10.14.1
Since recent acrobat update, software is near unusable. Constant 30 second pauses (beachball), cannot add text to simple, single page documents.
Using Acrobat since v3, so I know my way around...Thankfully Illustrator 2019 provides a workaround.

Adobe Acrobat Pro lacks actual editing features
To be an editing program, Adobe Acrobat needs actual editing features.
1) There needs to be a way to set margins, and to lock and unlock headers and footers in place for editing. 2) Compatibility issues with other adobe programs need to be addressed.
I'm trying to work with a file created by someone else in Adobe InDesign at the moment, and there are serious formatting issues crossing over with the text being randomly broken up into multiple text boxes. Even if I copy-paste all the text on one page into a single text area, after I save the document…

Acrobat OCR
When modifying a scanned document, Acrobat automatically launches an OCR process, which is indeed very useful. But, as I work either in French or in English, very often the language is not appropriate and it is only AFTER this process that the language is displayed. In the case of a bad language choice, I have to change the language and Acrobat restarts the OCR process with the correct language. So, I would like to suggest to add (perhaps as an option to be set in the preference dialog box) BEFORE the start of the OCR process the display of a…

Reordering pages
In the previous version of Adobe Acrobat DC, in Organize Pages, I could select a thumbnail and move the page to a new location. What happened to that feature? I am beside myself as I used that feature ALL THE TIME!
PLEASE BRING IT BACK or tell me how to move pages now that it is gone. I don't have a select page range option which I saw on different forums. WHAT AM I MISSING

Make Adobe Acrobat 100% ADA compliant so Blind users can actually use it
Currently, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is not 100% ADA compliant. Specifically, one cannot create or edit PDFs if one uses a screen reader to navigate around their computer screen (i.e. is blind/visually impaired). I currently use JAWS 2018, Windows 10, and have Acrobat Pro DC. I've attempted to create and edit from combining PDFs, using copies, etc. I've even tried using some of your tutorial items to test with and have had the same results (ex. Bodea's Brochure -- the brochure your website tutorial has specifically for practicing editing).

Could you please brief me on the workflows where you are facing the issue.Regards

Editing PDF images completely removes large image mask features and just moves it to random place. Cannot resize or move because it's larger
Editing PDF images completely removes large image mask features and just moves it to random place. Cannot resize or move because it's larger than the document page, and anytime I try to move, it doesn't because it's trying to align to some arbitrary spot.
