1. One time password option

   There should be multiple options to password protect a pdf, not just read/edit.

   When you make a pdf that is password protected, you have to make sure that whoever you are sending it to, understands how to enter the password, change the password and/or turn off the password. Not everyone uses Acrobat.

   To remove a password, you don't have to go into File > Properties and click the “Security” tab. Click the “Security Method” box, select “No Security”, and click “OK” to remove the password.

   Not everyone understands Acrobat. When you password protect a pdf, there should be an option to secure a pdf one time, or just to open. When the correct password is entered and the pdf opens, the password information is automatically deleted/removed. The next time you go to open the pdf there is no password. You can always turn it back on, if you know how, but this would be a simple protection if a pdf was sent via email, USB, cloud, …

2. signature was not on the document even though it was signed

   I sent a document to be signed. When I looked at it afterwards, it didn't look signed. When I tried to amend it, it wouldn't let me because it said it had been signed.

3. Access Code or Password to open up Document at Review & Sign part of the Request for Signature in Adobe Sign

   Currently even if a document is password protected, whoever receives the document to esign has complete access to the document without providing a password or access code. This defeats the purpose of protecting the document with a password when a person can just click it open when asked to review & sign. Once a person has already viewed the document (just by clicking review & sign) and signed the document, then they can download the signed document and at that point it becomes password protected to access it, which again is already too late, as the document has already been viewed without any password or access code. If the wrong email is mistakenly used to send a document that is not theirs to see, they will see that document because they just click review & sign and it opens it right up. If there was an access code given to the person who is supposed to sign, then only they would be able to review & sign once they put their access code in and the person who mistakenly receives the email, can't open it up because they don't have the access code.

4. Unable to sign in

   Steps to reproduce - Click sign in top right corner of desktop app
   OS - Windows 10 home build number 19042.685 Acrobat version 2020.013.20074
   Expected result - give a dialog to sign in
   Observed result - shows watch for a few seconds, then does nothing.
   When I go into help, it says I'm logged in however I still see sign in button on right side and I can use request signatures. It shows authentication failed as shown in screenshot.

5. hide / delete page from signer

   I have a pdf file that is fillable and i send with adobe sign to the signer.
   The pdf file have 2 pages. In the first page there's a radio button (Yes/no)
   I'd like that if the signer choose "no" the second page will be hidden or deleted... is it possible? thank you

6. Digitally signed documents are not conformant to ETSI standards

   ETSI signature conformance checker at https://signatures-conformance-checker.etsi.org reports some problems with digital signatures created in Acrobat configured for CAdES-Equivalent default signing format:

   57. Error: Contents/CAdESSignature/content/signedData/signerInfos/signerInfo[1]/signedAttrs/attribute[3]/attrValues/essSigningCertificateV2[1]-{CheckSchemaForChildren}

   Children order and number DO NOT MATCH specification

   Specification: certs+

   Elements found: certs policies

   Error indication (^ appears at the end of the last correct child): certs^ policies

   64. Error: Contents/CAdESSignature/content/signedData/signerInfos/signerInfo[1]/signedAttrs/attribute[4]/attrValues/NotKnownComponent[1]-{ForAllTheChildrenDo}

   An unknown component has been reached. Consequently, its children and their processing are unknown to the TLCC. No further checks will be done to this component

   Error #57 relates to the fact, that according to ETSI EN 319 122-1, clause 5.2.2.3, policies field shall NOT be used in essSigningCertificateV2.

   Error #64 is caused by OID 1.2.840.113583.1.1.8 (Adobe revocationInfoArchival) which is not allowed in CAdES-Equivalent signatures. Acrobat shall automatically disable config option "Include signature's revocation status" for CAdES signatures. Users can add revocation info after signing - via "Add Verification Information".

7. Acrobat adds unusable OCSP to documents with long-term validation

   Due to OCSP caching, Acrobat most of the time adds stale OCSP to digitally signed documents with long-term validation (LTV)

   PAdES-LT and -LTA profiles require signature to include qualified timestamp and OCSP's thisUpdate time must be AFTER signature time as certified by qualified timestamp - otherwise OCSP can't be used for signature validation.

   Thus, when adding LTV data to signed documents, Acrobat should always check:

   1) whether the signature contains qualified timestamp
   2) whether OCSP's thisUpdate time is AFTER the timestamp time (it's not allowed to consider any clock skew here since qualified timestamp servers and OCSP responders should be synchronized to precise time source)

   Please note, that caching could occur not just in Acrobat, but also on OCSP servers, which can return responses with thisUpdate being in the past like this:

   Produced At: Dec 12 16:40:29 2020 GMT
   This Update: Dec 12 16:40:20 2020 GMT
   Next Update: Dec 12 16:50:20 2020 GMT

   Such OCSP can't be used to validate a signature created at Dec 12 16:40:28 2020 GMT!

8. Password copy paste capability

   Allow copy paste of the user's password into the password window.

   Currently, this cannot be done, so the user has to pull up a password manager (or scrap of paper with the password) and transcribe the password.

10. PDF will redact or self-destruct after fixed time limit

    When sharing PDF files the file should have the built-in function that after a certain time-limit e.g. when information is out of date or to protect IP the contents redact or self-destruct.

    Pairing this with read-only, no download functionality will protect the content from being improperly used

14. Opt-out from Data Collection

    Can we use Windows group policy to opt-out on data collection for users for privacy reasons? By default it's set to opt-in for a user before they log on but we would like to opt-out without the users' intervention.

    When the OCSP response used to check the validity of a eIDAS QES signature certificate is signed using a different root certificate than used for signing the user certificate, the signature validity is shown as UNKNOWN, although this procedure is in conformity with the European Union eIDAS regulation. This DOES NOT IMPAIR content or security of the file and does not change/invalidate the document execution. Please note, this precisely is a huge issue with digitally signed documents in that they are impossible to work with afterward For reasons of confidentiality, I can not attach an example file. ***My idea: allow highlight/notation/header/footer BUT INCLUDE A FEATURE: a "send with/without notations" and a "print with/without notes" feature.     I'm unable to create a signature, when I select 'add signature' my screen grey's out and i'm unable to do anything. It doesn't move past this, and then I have to escape out. Is there a work around?
