  5. If a document has multiple contacts listed, and therefore multiple e-mail addresses listed, it would be nice to be able to select more than one address and have it go into the same e-mail. This feature would have to work with common e-mail providers of course. For example, I have Outlook. A PDF has multiple e-mail addresses. I would like to be able to pick and choose who to send an e-mail to, and have it open in one e-mail with my chosen people in the "To." If I click the hyperlink for their address, it opens a new e-mail…

  7. Some PDF documents seem to contain meta data content that's causing Adobe Acrobat DC and Adobe Acrobat Reader to move/resize their program window when such document is opened.

This behaviour is rather annoying and it may lead to accessibility issues.

Please, either stop Acrobat/Reader from moving/resizing their program window when opening a document containing such meta data information, or provide an accessibility option in Preferences to optionally have Acrobat ignore that meta data information.

    Hi,
The issue faced by you is due to the setting of the document set by the user. Please see the following setting in the document :
    1. Open Document→File → Properties → Initial View Tab → uncheck Center Window on screen

Please make sure the setting is not checked in your document to avoid the issue.

    Thanks
    Rachit

  8. I download a large pdf document every day. This must be broken up into smaller documents, but there is NO EXTRACT BUTTON! I have to open the "Page Thumbnails" and highlight what I want to extract, then right click, hit "extract" and go from there. It takes so much longer!

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.
You can use the extract button by following below mentioned steps:
    1) Open a pdf
    2)Click on Organize pages
    3) Now click on extract
4)Now you can select the pages you want to extract
    5) Also you have the option to ‘Extract pages as separate files’

    Hope this helps you.

  9. I am trying to add footers to a form which in Acrobat 11 was very efficient. Since being forced into using DC this capability has become ridiculously slow (15 - 20 secs to add 2 characters). I am using a 64bit 8gb RAM laptop. Paying lots, getting little.

  12. Hi,

The "Document Color" function that is somewhat hidden in the "Convert Colors" window is a very important print production tool. It only becomes really visible when you click its arrow. You cannot resize its window. In a document with many images, it becomes very hard to see all of the different image formats and ICC profiles. It definitely needs a resizeable window as a separate Print Production tool.

  13. I have Acrobat Pro DC as part of a Creative Cloud subscription. Running on MacBook Pro under OS X High Sierra 10.13.6.
For several weeks I've had the issue that when starting the app, usually by opening a PDF, there is a interval of a minute or more when it is unresponsive. The document is slow to appear. The Mac process indicator appears (spinning rainbow disc). The delay is quite aggravating. It only happens on the first document opened in a session.
If I quit the app and reopen it, the same thing occurs.
This behavior started recently; and the…

  15. Hi, I have been making PDFs from InDesign CC 2019 running on Mac OS High Sierra. When opening the PDFs in Acrobat Pro DC, it's creating broken links from text that does not look like a URL and where no links have been specified. I think it's the 'Create Links from URLs' feature in Acrobat preferences trying to be helpful but failing miserably. This seems to affect text that uses a colon : but I can't ask my client not to use colons in their copy just because Acrobat is incorrectly reading it as a URL. My client is asking…

Also some sample PDFs with which you are facing this issue.

  16. Currently large Photoshop documents that are PSBs cannot be saved as Photoshop PDFs. The unacceptable work-around is to flatten the file and hope that it’s small enough to convert to PSD first.

If this is not already being worked on (I hope it is), then please add it to your list. It’s an issue for Photoshop users.

    1. Open this PDF in Adobe Pro
    2. See "bad stream" error.

Any other PDF reader (Chrome, Evince, Mac Preview, GhostScript) opens it just fine, but Adobe Pro is unhappy about it.

Is it a bug in Adobe Pro?

  18. Hi, I have hundreds of url's and need to save them as the jpegs each URL does belong to our catalogue, and I am assuming there is a straightforward way of converting them with some batch action?

To be clear I am converting multiple URLs to jpegs or .Psd files and am looking to do it in a batch process

    There must be a way

  19. Acrobat processes hang in task manager. Clicking on a PDF file or the application shortcut will not launch the program but task manager shows Acrobat running. Killing the process and trying again still does not work. Users have to sign out or reboot several times a day to get Acrobat to launch.
