   This is an issue in the 2023.003.20269 update.

   I use an application that generates HTML documents with PDF files linked inside them. An IE frame is used to preview HTML, which allows the Adobe Add On to preview the PDF inside of the page. The PDF files are stored on a network drive with the path to the file being a UNC path.

   When opening the file in IE Adobe throws an error:

   Cannot Access the URL:

   Security Restrictions Prohibit Access To Untrusted URLs.

   Disabling the security measures within Adobe make no difference or adding the UNC as a trusted location. I have also updated the PDF source to a URL instead of a UNC path and this then loads fine, so it's only an issue with UNC paths.

   I have downgraded back to 2023.003.20244 where this is not an issue.

   This is an issue in the 2023.003.20269 update.

8. Outlook Forwarding Acrobat File Default File Location

   I was using Acrobat DC Pro 2015.

   When someone sent me an Acrobat document to sign, it was a simple process to send the signed file back. Those steps were Forward > Address it > Open attachment > Sign > Save (defaulted to where the file is located, which is the Outlook temp folder) > Send. Quick and Easy!!

   After upgrading to Adobe Creative Cloud a few weeks ago, Acrobat no longer defaults to the Outlook temp folder. It instead defaults to Recent Folders. This makes the signing process more time consuming.

9. Can't see document titles

   This new version is terrible. On the old one I could hover over the tabs at the top and see the complete pdf file name. Now this only works on some random tabs, with most of them only showing the first few characters. I hope you fire whoever is responsible for this new version. IT WORKED FINE BEFORE!     I am looking for the ability to search for a term where the term is "contained" and Acrobat will highlight all of these occurrences.

    For example, I wanted to search for the term "scenario" and highlight all occurrences of it whether it is found as "scenario", "scenarios", or other variation.     Since Acrobat Pro had services on the cloud and was named Document Cloud back in 2015, we mostly tell our staff and clients using Acrobat to avoid setting the Language to "English يدعم العربية", meaning don't set your Acrobat to Arabic as seen in the screenshot below, we rather tell all users to change the Language to English so we can all enjoy cloud services such as E-sign, sharing files, and Fill & Sign.

    On this Adobe forums, I read quite a few complaints about some Acrobat features failing to run or perform as intended, just to discover user's Acrobat Language was set to Arabic, hence when the Language is switched to English, Acrobat will run and perform properly.

    My question to Acrobat Development Team is when do we need to change the Language to Arabic, and why is this option even there in the first place?
    I'm an Arabic-speaking person, I'm an Adobe technical support working in the Middle East for the Adobe distributor. I personally suffered from this issue back in 2015 when my Acrobat was set to Arabic, and only when I changed to English, Acrobat ran well.
    Moreover, I intentionally kept my Acrobat setting as Arabic for few weeks last year to test the possibility of solving issues facing Arab users with Arabic content, and yet nothing changed, regardless of whether Acrobat is set to English or Arabic, the same issues stayed there when handling Arabic content PDF such as Arabic OCR, Editing, backwards converting a PDF to MS. Word… etc.

    Just searching this Acrobat forum for English / Arabic, and you will see non-Arab users complaining that some features in Acrobat failing, just to find setting Acrobat Language to English يدعم العربية is the cause..

    I need someone to enlighten me, of what is this option English يدعم العربية is doing here and what are the advantages of choosing it - if any.

    Some links within the Adobe Acrobat Pro app point to https://helpx.adobe.com/ (e.g. items in the Accessibility report). Upon clicking the link the help text shows briefly but is then replaced by a login screen. There's no option to cancel or go back to the previous page (not even an option to switch account if it shows the wrong account).

    At that moment I'm not interested in logging in, I need the information on that page which I just saw for two seconds.

19. constant system hangs on osx ventura

    I'm getting constant system hangs on OSX Ventura 13.5.2. It causes illustrator to freeze completely and several other system resources freeze. It seems to have something to do with the open/save dialog box as when I view the system resources acrobat, illustrator, and a system open/save dialog box process are all "not responding".
