  2. MS has a new default font - Aptos. However, Adobe does not render this font well at all - it's a hot mess, especially at low document zooms. e's are smaller, a's are bigger than the rest of the text.

  3. Hello Adobe support,

I cannot find the setting to deactivate "open documents as a new tabs in the same window" (I want a new window for each!) under [preferences > General > Basic Tools] anymore since the latest update. Please can you let me know where I can turn this off? I am using Adobe Acrobat Reader MUI (23.003.20244).

    Thank you and regards,
    Patrick

  4. I DESPERATELY want a user preference that inhibits automatically opening the left side toolbar. I've seen a couple of other comments on the same topic where an Adobe engineer claims that F8 turns off the menu. News Flash: F8 does nothing in my Acrobat Reader AND I ALWAYS want the left-side tools menu hidden, unless summoned. I<b> READ</b> PDFs with Acrobat <b>Reader</b>, I don't need or want to see editing tools. So far (after YEARS of use) I haven't needed to redact, highlight, or annotate (comment), but I can see those capabilities as being potentially valuable when needed, though RARELY.

  5. The new version is really horrible (removing the snapshot tool - the most useful tool in the whole program - great idea guys - and the "Disable New Acrobat Reader line DOESN'T EVEN WORK!), but one especially bad feature is that the new version sets the printer to use the lightest possible ink density. The resulting prints are so light they are almost unreadable. I've compared printed copies of the same document printed from the old and new versions of acrobat and it's definitely the new version at fault. I can't adjust the print density from the print dialog box.…

  7. My computer downloaded the latest update of Adobe on 4.22.2024 and now when I open a form with fillable fields (that I have used hundreds of times) I cannot modify/change the information contained in the fields. The fields are unlocked for 10 seconds (roughly) in which time you can modify them, like normal, after 10 seconds all fields lock and I cannot modify any information. PLEASE HELP!

  9. Please go back to beter icons in Acrobat.
The icons now are so bad that you have to search for it, it is only for the new icons in the new version. The icons on the upper top bar are good.

Most icons are gone and the icon are spread to the left and right.
It is almost of it is the new Acrobat is made for a tablet or small screen.

But on our 40" WUHD (5120 x 2160) the mouse makes extra miles/kilometers.

The new version look clean, I've tried it for two week but works so bad,…

  10. Everything about the new update is worse than the previous version. I get terrible slowdown and "not responding" messages literally every time I use it, and the FIND function in particular has been ruined. It barely works, and constantly shifts itself out of the search bar. PLEASE REVERT THIS FUTURE TO THE WAY IT USED TO BE. Otherwise the software is almost unusuable.

  11. Since 2020, I used ADOBE PRO, previously installed on my laptop with a subscription. After this year's renewal, the app didn't accept my log in, and after reaching out to customer service, I ended up with an ADOBE READER. That is what the person said my subscription was good for. BUYER BEWARE! Now, I need to pay to upgrade my product to ADOBE PRO. Shame on you, ADOBE.

  12. New adobe is just horrible! Not user friendly whatsoever, too many clicks, cant sign or edit text simply like I used to. I used to love it , now it's become a hassle! Why would you do this?! I rather use an online bootleg version. I most likely will end my subscription- it's not worth the trouble. I work efficiently, and this update has done the opposite to my work. I simply don't have time, now that you guys have made it more complicated!!

  13. Please, for the love of all that's good and right in the world, stop dramatically changing the GUI of your products that are already functional as is and making us relearn where all the tools we use are because you decided to rearrange the furniture. It's not fun. It's certainly not an improvement. I have work to do, I don't have time to figure out, every time there's an "update" where you decided to hide everything I need to use to get through my day. Your latest Acrobat "improvements" meant that in the middle of an important, time-sensitive project, I…

  14. Font size control in the program on the menus and the recent list and such. Without using Windows' horrible magnifier. With bad eyes everything is way too small.

  16. The new-look UI for Adobe Reader has a new, revamped "pages" panel on the right side. This is where page thumbnails are shown. The problem is that the whole panel element is way too wide. It takes up way too much screen space. Even when you reduce the size of the thumbnails to the smallest view setting, there is still too much white space on either side of the thumbnails. It IS possible to resize the panel by dragging the panel's border with your mouse, but the problem with this is that Adobe Reader will not remember the resizing of…

  17. Security guards in the UK use much equipment to perform their duties effectively and ensure their safety. They typically wear uniforms provided by their security companies, which often include high-visibility clothing to make them easily identifiable.
Communication is key, so guards use two-way radios and smartphones to stay in touch with their team and the control room

Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, and sometimes body armor is essential, especially in high-risk situations. Depending on the policies of their security companies, guards might carry self-defense tools like batons or pepper spray to protect themselves and others. Flashlights…

  18. There are several typical causes for this to be occurring. First, see whether there's an issue with the internet connection on your TV or the Netflix app. To resolve small bugs, the software may occasionally need to be updated or quickly restarted. To check if it works, try restarting your TV or shutting and reopening the Netflix app. How to Fix Netflix is not Working

  19. Whenever I go to print a PDF there is a 50% chance that the editing tools appear overtop of the print window.

    OS: Windows 11 Pro
    Screen resolution: 1920x1080
    Windows UI Scale: 100%
    Computer: Dell XPS 13 2-in-1

  20. Side panel page navigation are you stupid? who looks at the bottom right corner. at the very least let me choose what tools go where and the floating toolbar on the left is just lazy. finally if you are going to roll out a new one for all that is holy let me move my customizations with me.
