2. print production

   BUG: Print Production tool miscalculates PDF trim box size of LARGE Canvas Illustrator created PDFs w Marks. See Grab. Made us go nuts thinking the PDFs is wrong when it's the acrobat tool!

   I think there is a design flaw in your programme so that when someone has finished say editing a document the Save button does not immediately display a “save as” option. You have to right click on Save to see that option in a sub menu.. At the very least your FAQ should include this as an answer the question how do I save my files? In addition when Save alone is clicked there is no indication of where the file has gone and it does not appear in any of the categories of file shown on the webpage.

4. pdf extension NOT needing re-association

   Windows 10 64-bit. Latest Acrobat Pro DC. Every restart (or Acrobat update) it keeps calling up the window to change the file type association for PDF to Acrobat, when it is ALREADY set as Acrobat, and will not clear itself out of the way (other than to X out of the window). There is no reason the 'change file type associate should be coming up if it is already set properly, both in file extension properties and in the registry.

5. BUG : latest acrobat pro (200155) not recognizing a bpdx file as parameter

   I launch acrobat thru command line or thru scheduler and pass it a bpdx file as a parameter. It launches acrobat but does not start indexing the pdf files pointed to in the bpdx file. My files and command lines are correct - they were working in March 2021. Not working now.

6. Cross platform support

   I know that this is something that has been suggested many times, but please consider supporting at the very least Linux distros like Ubuntu/Debian and Red hat (maybe a few more of the most used distros).
   I know the general reasoning for not doing so, but most is so dated by now! And I wholly believe that anyone who has tried a major distro within the past couple of years, will agree.

   "Linux are mostly used by coders/hackers/servers":
   Everyone who knows how to format a computer, and install Windows, can easily install and use Ubuntu, as a minimum. It's easier to set up, and use, than Windows 10, these days. There are very few cases where one needs to use CLI, and this comes down to installing things that do not exist as snaps, or cannot be found in the Ubuntu Software store. The more software is in this store, the less necessary CLI becomes.
   If I was to teach a person, who's unfamiliar with using a computer, how to use one, I'd show them Deepin, or Ubuntu (maybe iOS, because it's still slightly more polished), because it's faster, more intuitive, less messy, is much easier to maintain (thanks to package managers updating everything, rather than individual pieces of software) and gets much less in the way than Windows.

   "The userbase is small"
   Yes, it is, but it's no longer because Linux-based OS'es requires CLI. Now it's because many companies relies on Microsoft Office, and being able to fill in and sign PDF's.
   Today, LibreOffice is a fenomenal office suite, but it is maybe a little difficult for established companies, that relies on documents and spreadsheets, made in MS office, but new companies could easily base their office needs around LibreOffice. But things like not being able to sign a PDF is a hindrance.
   I work in a small company with about 120 employed. We have quite a few laptops. Some of them needs windows, because of some niche software they need to run, but most could easily run Linux and LibreOffice, if there had been the ability to sign PDF's through Adobe Acrobat DC, which by many other companies are seen as the only valid digital signature.

   Please stop being one of few reasons that people are forced to use OS'es they don't like.

7. Option/Link/Ability to reset phone number at login.

   A user in my company with an Adobe Acrobat DC Pro license changed her cellphone number and now cant login, there is no forum or option to reset this phone number for users or me as Admin. Would be nice to have an additional option other than just "Reset Password" - maybe something like "Not your number anymore"/"Lost your phone number" for users, and maybe a "Clear phone number" for us Admins.

8. Maybe Adobe wants to build an education platform like Zoom, Microsoft , Google classroom etc.

   I have started to use Adobe to correct exam papers, quite good,turn word documents into pdf which students cannot alter, open them at the same time and correct one number question ,like all number 3 questions, easy for the corrector/marker . You can add a test maker, whiteboard and video conferencing. Also add powerpoint sharing and a you tube linking feature so instructional videos can be shown assigned.You can also add a video conferencing feature so students can see you and you can see them. What do you think? After all we have been using adobe reader for free for quite some time, time to offer free feedback and creation of new product. You can make it individual licensed or organization.
   There is much to add to this design- like grading, auto record keeping-marks, no body has an attendance keeper, ( say along something like zoom)of all those who attended the video, came late of who left early.so good for teacher
   Also needed automatic parent notification when attendance is missed or assignment not submitted by time, also auto note to parents per month, on number of assignments not done. finally professional grade report output

9. want to share as a pdf, not in the cloud

10. Your support team is unnecessarily telling me to suggest new ideas

    I am consistently getting inaccurate advice from your support team (in this last case it was Kanchan). They do not understand your products and do not want to admit this. Rather than transfer me to a supervisor they send endless chat messages without answering even the most basic questions so the do not have to admit they know too little about the products they are supporting

11. MEASURE

    When using measurement tool, the holding the "SHIFT" key to maintain a straight measurement to a parallel feature, shows the dimension in an angled configuration. Cannot find a way to show the measurement label properly. This should be a very basic functionality of the measurement tool.

12. Showing OTF fonts as different from PS Type 1 in document properties

    Adobe is ending support of PS Type 1 fonts in a few years. But in the document properties of PDF files Acrobats shows the included fonts as Type 1, even if you've only used OTF in your document.That is quite confusing.
    Oftentimes a work in progress is checked only via PDFs, and it's impossible to know whether the correct type of font has been used or not.
    I can't see this being very difficult to implement, since there's already a special way to show when a TTF font has been used.

14. Acrobat Pro DC no longer working on Microsoft surface pros with ARM processors

    Hi,

    We have 3 newer Microsoft surface Pro Xs which have ARM processors. Adobe Acrobat Pro DC has just stopped working suddenly on them. I have spoken with Adobe via the chat and get sent the link to the page which shows the requirements for windows devices to have AMD or Intel processors.

    However, as I mentioned, Acrobat Pro DC has worked fine until now for several months. Please can you assist with this?

17. thumbnails do not show on windows explorer despite enabling this option in Adobe Reader Preferences and windows explorer

    PDF thumbnails do not show on windows explorer despite enabling "Enable PDF thumbnail previews in Windows Explorer" and enabling the thumbnail preview on "View" Options in Windows Explorer.

    I really need a fix for this issue.

18. PDF mantiene activas las notas emergentes y otras funcionalidades

    Actualmente al convertir un powerpoint a pdf, este pasa con los links que se han incluido en el archivo original. De igual manera debería pasar funciones como notas emergentes que al pasar el cursor sobre el objeto que la tenga, la muestre. Lo anterior para la variedad de aplicaciones que pueden convertirse a pdf como Visio, powerpoint, excel, etc. Gracias por la atención.

19. Constant requirement to sign in to our account to use software. Getting impatient...

    This needs to be fixed. We are wasting a lot of time constantly be required to sign in to our account, often times on a weekly basis.
    We have an annual subscription and this should not be happening.
    Frankly I'm getting **** tired of it.

    First of all I want to thank all of you guys you are doing a great job.

    second, I know that we can attach a jpg file ,but you will have to leave the reader and open it and when you send it to others it won't open and I know that we can edit pdf to add images ,but sometimes there is no enough space in the page and its so hard to readjust the pdf so it looks normal again, so if we could to comment with a sticky note but we can add in that sticky note a jpg image so that we could write a caption with the image it would be so helpful especially for students of chemistry ,pharmaceutical science and medicine .
