Cant edit a button without adding a new button 1st
In Acrobat, I can't edit an existing button (i.e click on it, right click to get options, etc) without 1st going into the button tool, and placing a new button to get the button selection tool. After that I can edit the existing button then delete the new button. There should be a button selection tool or something similar.

PDF Reader Which Allows Editing
There are many many posts regarding the fact that Adobe Acrobat is not an editing application. Attempting to do so results in broken lines and text blocks, crazy word spacing, etc.
There is a need for such an editing application; oftentimes publishers are handed PDFs that they then have to manipulate to fit their needs, be it changing trim size, editing text, or reformatting for audio publishing. So it would be wonderful if Adobe came up with an application that can be used to edit existing PDFs, with generic word-processing features such as styles, layout options, spell check, and review.1 vote -

Auto delete blank pages after scanning a pdf
Paper files that I scan can be anywhere from 1 - 700+ pages. For my larger files, it's easier for me to check the front/back on our scanner so it scans both sides of the pages and delete any blank pages after it's a pdf. It would be incredibly helpful if the blank pages could automatically be deleted once it's a pdf. This step of deleting blank pages was easier and quicker in the previous version of Adobe Standard. This new version is so much slower and more time consuming. I've had to go back and re-highlight blank pages because…

Switching between the normal viewing screen and the Organise Pages screen, page lost
This is a problem in the new version that was not present in the old version: When switching between the normal viewing screen and the Organise Pages screen, the page being viewed on the normal viewing is not then highlighted on the Organise Pages screen. When going in the other direction, the page highlighted on the Organise Pages Screen is not then shown on the normal viewing screen. WIth this new version, it is neessary to make a note of the page number when switching between screens otherwise the page is "lost" and it is necessary to scroll through and…

NEW BUG: Fatal error with insert more picture signatures into PDF
Hallo, we have a big problem with the current version of Adobe Acrobat XXXX. The older versions did not have this problem.
After installing Adobe Acrobat, it is possible to put signatures in PDF (as a picture) for about 2 days only. We typically insert 5 to 20 picture signatures into an existing PDF document. After about two days there will be a fatal error somewhere in the program, probably overflowing some counter in Adobe Acrobat. For different PDFs, the error behaves completely identical.
We captured the manifestation of the error in the attached videos. We also tried to send…1 vote -
Combining PDFs - into an existing file, not making a whole new file.
For a PC: Allowing to add a file into an existing PDF without creating a whole new PDF with the "combine" tool. Already I need to save and name two PDFs and then when I click COMBINE, it makes it a whole new PDF to be saved and named. These are too many steps just to simply combine PDFs.

When close an unsaved edited PDF or Acrobat itself, you only get the options "save" & "discard", but no "cancel" option to continue editing.
When you close an unsaved edited PDF or Acrobat itself, you only get the options "save" (curretn file name) & "discard", after which the document will close imediately.
It would be very helpfull if there is an option to cancel closing and continue editing, or choose "save as" to save the changed PDF with an other file name.2 votes -
Be able to add Take a Snapshot to toolbar
For years, the Take a Snapshot was on my toolbar. It's my most used feature. Now you've taken it and burried it on the menu. Please allow us to add to toolbar

The new interface simply very annoying. Just add a button upfront for users to simply and easily switch back.
I feel very upset about the new interface. It's confusing and very hard to find tools, or some are missing, or some are misplaced. Not user friendly in any level. Completely hate it. Just want the old version back. Add a button upfront to switch back that actually will not switch back the next time a new file is open.

BUG: Add Text Tool Always Attempts to Edit Existing Text
This is a serious bug in Adobe Acrobat version 24.1+, where the "Add Text" tool attempts to edit existing text in a document. Often, users wish to simply add text to a document, but if the page is crowded (such as an IRS form), the application attempts to edit the closest text around the cursor instead of simply adding additional text to the document.
Previously there was a tool called "Typewriter" which only added text. Adobe removed this tool in favor of the "Add Text" tool, which was a very bad decision IMO.
The intent of the user should be…

editing - unable to change font
When I am editing text - specifically page numbers when I have moved pages around - I am unable to change the font. The default font is some weird hieroglyphics font and I can't change it.
Because I work with HUGE and complicated pdfs, I can't simpy remove all the page numbers and re-apply them.1 vote -
Find and Replace All
Hello, when finding and replacing texts, I'd like to request a "Replace All" option besides just "Replace".
Sometimes we don't have access to or cannot change source files, and we'd have to edit the PDFs. It's extremely time-consuming having to find and replace 500+ instances of a word. A "Replace All" button will be very helpful in this scenario.1 vote -
Having to pay to rotate a pdf....
This is appalling. I had previously really enjoyed acrobat when testing it , however, the money hungry people back at corporate have changed that.
I tried Acrobat Premium and found the cost to be far too high considering I can do the same thing and more for $12.00 per year on Goodnotes, but I gave it a try due to my previous positive experiences. As a student I do not have a lot of additional money for applications like Acrobat and I was extremely disappointed with the level of access I was receiving for almost $300.00 per year. I was…

Changes letters to garbage characters
Adobe Acrobat Pro keeps changing letters to junk characters. Font HAS been imbedded. This has been a continuing issue. Just finished writing a 91 page report that turned to garbage. Not happy that I have to write it over and hope it doesn't just do the same thing. This is the most over priced and unstable program on my computer. It's not worth the price that to buy outright that is charged as a yearly "subscription". If I didn't need to have it for my business, I would never have it on my computer. You charge 3 times what I…
